Best fish and chips I've had in ages. Went previous to the new owners and it was poor but the chips yesterday were delicious, the right amount of crunch and the fish delightful.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend or go again.
Ten thumbs up.

A lovely quaint shop with such big personality from start to finish I was impressed the welcoming bunting outside to the lovley smile waiting when we stepped inside ! The chips hot tasty and fluffy and the fish just perfect and crispy and delicious but the real star of the show the tartar sauce just

Best fish and chips we have had in ages! Freshly cooked while you wait by lovely staff. Beautiful white fish and great chips. Will definitely be going again soon.
I make a round trip of approx. 8 miles to get the best fish and chips I have tasted for years. There are at least 10 fish and chip shops closer to me all of them losing out to Kirkhamgate Fisheries. Highly recommended - and the chat ain't bad either. Keep up the good work Josh and Co.
I hadn't had fish n chips for about a year, after my local put me off. Kirkhamgate was recommended to me, the chips were lovely soft and fluffy, and the fish was nicely cooked with light crispy batter. The cost was a little more than I used to pay but it was worth it.

Well worth the trip from Ossett. The fish was fried to order and was delicious. The kids meal was also made to order and good value. Better than any chippy in Ossett. We have returned several times since this review and never been disappointed, even added Halloumi fritters so even the wife is sorte
I have been meaning to try this fish and chip shop for quite sometime know. After today I would highly recommend to anyone wow they have been the best fish and chips I have ever tasted in a long time.
You absolutely must try these fish & chips they are fantastic. You get plenty for your money and the fish batter is excellent it is so crispy and the chips are,moist I would recommend this fish & chip shop to everyone it's my local chippy and I don't use any other
