Blacksmiths Arms - Wakefield - Photo album

Had an unscheduled stop here after a road was temporarily closed due to accident. Food was reasonable and beer was good. Not the cheapest but definitely not overly dear. A decent pub.
The chicken pie came in a good sized dish but when you lift the pastry lid the there was hardly any filling just a few pieces of chicken at the bottom very poor portion for 17 pound one spoonfuls of mash and one carrot
It is the first time I have been here and my friend and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Great customer service, good food, reasonable prices and a lovely atmosphere. We will be back!
It is such a lovely amazing place to eat, but sadly, Marstons are closing this down, which is totally unacceptable, staff have worked there heart and soul into this company, they didn't even know the company was closing in down they only read this online, totally unacceptable the management and staf
Service with a smile, very friendly and welcoming. Food came quick and tasted dead on, thought it was strange gravy with the cheese sauce but actually tasted really nice! Can’t fault for a walk in on Sunday evening

Always a nice place to visit for a meal or a drink. Friendly, helpful staff and easy to find with plenty of parking. Children's play area outside for the summer.

The food was good and the service was excellent. Just lacked a little atmosphere, and was very quiet.
