Interior fairly recently redone, clean and presentable. Staff friendly. Good location to have lunch then go for a wander around the Dam itself.
Staff got one part of the order wrong, but this was soon corrected.

Booked for a table of 8, turned up and was seated promptly, service was exemplary, swift and courteous. The food itself was well presented, impressively portioned and tasty for the price paid. The atmosphere Inside was comfy and inviting. All in all a great time was had and would happily go back.
we arrived late lunch on 2:40pm Friday. we ordered the mixed grill. the steak was bit tough. the rest of meats were ok. fries were crispy. the sticky toffee pudding with custard was delicious but I wished that the pudding portion was larger.

I went to celebrate my great nephew`s birthday (18th), and although I was surprised the pub was not hectic for a Saturday evening, (it normally is) the atmosphere was still lovely. We had a wonderful meal, and drinks, and we also had a birthday cake, balloons etc. The staff were very accommodating

The staff could not be any better, we live local and we absolutely adore this place. They say there are no strangers here just friends you haven’t met yet. The new menu is is very tasty, and the pork belly bits are a must.
