The YSP is one of my favourite places to visit! The grounds are beautiful, the trees magnificent and then you have the added delight of the incredible sculpture on display! YSP is a wonderful place to visit in all seasons and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys lovely walks in nature and spectacular art.

Had the best afternoon Bank Holiday Monday. Glorious sunshine, bite to eat under the trees, ice cream and wonderful works to take in. The youngest member if our little party (aged 8) loved exploring. The petty, negative comments are ridiculous, especially crying over sweet icing... sweet icing... really?? and dry carrot cake, on the poor woman's birthday too. I've been visiting for years and have never had a bad trip out. YSP

Brilliant day out, £11 to be there all day, can't think of many places where three adults can get a day's entertainment for just over £3 each. The park is beautiful in itself, the exhibits are spread out over a wide area so there is time between them to relax and think about what you have seen before moving on to the next one. The sculptures from around the world give great variety to the exhibits and a chance to experience something that we would normally not have any opportunities to see. A wonderful place that has an incredible sense of calm.

This is a awestriking site. For a Norwegian familiy being used to living close to nature and farming the YSP is an Eden. The schoolkids, the sheep, the birds and the walks between the sculptures hit a nerve. Maybe we even felt the common grounds between the English and Scandinavians, where nature and everyday life plays the main role and not monumental stuff and a «stiff upper lip». Goldsworthys work and the philosophy behind it made it even more stunning. Off course the chocolate cake and coffee was a treat after the long walk. Thank you YSP. We will be back!

I love this place, safe and spacious for kids. Really well maintained and feels like home I’m there that much! Always different pockets of space to explore to keep the children interested. Still finding new things years after the first visit.

Wonderful art space. Always excellent exhibitions. They have a good mix, so there is something for everyone. Children love it. I love it! My favourite and so glad to be moving nearby, so I can visit regularly.

We pre-ordered the afternoon tea, at £18.95 it includes entry to the park if you're already planning on going to the park this is a similar price to a high street cafe or hotel with a beautiful view, if you're lucky enough to get a good seat. The food itself is good I particularly enjoyed the cheese on toast, quiche and scone. The cake seemed a little bit of a let down but I'm still waiting to find a tourist destination cafe in England with excellent cakes so this was no great surprise. The decor of the café is something of a let down given the setting in the grounds. But the food was worthwhile and the Sculpture park is a worthwhile day out in itself, highly recommended.

Banging food. I'd come here for lunch more often if I didn't have to pay a tenner to get in.

Got a fish butty and chips. The reason for the 4/5 is I thought the fish was a bit dry. Only mine though as my girlfriend disagreed and said to just use the tartare sauce to help 🤷🏻‍♂️ Plenty of tables to sit on and some good bits of art to look at, or take in the view of the grounds

Light and airy, food good, nice place to read or sketch, good for family walks, safe to walk alone for contemplation, to sit on the grass in meditation, great place to picnic, plenty to occupy children great for adults I have personally taken people with severe learning disabilities and was amazed by their reactions one man in particular did not just surprise and move me but several strangers around us.

Effective gallery cafe. Very nice soup. Good cake options. Not overpriced. Separate serveries for food & drinks not ideal, particularly when busy.

What a great place this is! If you like sculptures-great. If you want a walk in lovely country-great. Fancy a nice coffee or a snack- they do that too. However, if like me you like doing it all, this place is definitely worth the visit!! Check weather as most of the displays are outdoors!!

Excellent place to go if you're the artistic type.Something for all ages and good food as well. Make sure you're wearing sensibly footwear though because there's plenty of walking to do.

Nice cafe with excellent service but, not surprisingly, a bit lacking in atmosphere.

A good cafe / restaurant with excellent views over the Sculpture Park. On our recent visit, the kitchen mislabbeled our sandwiches which was surprising.

Definitely can recommend for a lunch. Good food and reasonable variety. Can get busy but always good service. You can sit outside weather permitting but plenty of room indoors. Excellent place to go especially in the summer. Something for all ages and good food. As a tip do make sure you're wearing sensibly footwear though as to get the best out of here there's plenty of walking to do. 👍

Good food and a varied menu, different every time we visit. Stunning views if you can manage to get a table either side of the window. My wife has mobility problems but it's never an issue in the restaurant or anywhere at the YSP

Advertised as push chairs friendly, wouldn't say it even comes close. Lovely grounds and art work though. The cafe in the main center was a little over priced as you come to expect but the restaurant within the grounds was reasonable and very nice, highly recommend the eggs Benedict. Nice day out, but if you have a small child I'd take a baby carrier and tread carefully.
