I visited today with my family we had vegan afternoon tea which was only £10 each ! The food was absolutely Devine, so tasty, and to have access to vegan options is just such a plus. The staff were friendly and wanted to help! I will definitely be back here and recommend this beautiful place to everyone! So accommodating, like a breath of fresh air, thankyou for your service

This is by far my absolute favourite cafe in Wakefield! First came here about a year ago with my Mum & we LOVED it! I now come here on a regular basis with my partner, and it’s spot on every time! Friendly and sociable staff who’s table service is always impeccable, the food is delicious and coffee’s amazing! I love the decor & the room just feels clean to sit in. Couldn’t recommend enough!!

Really enjoyed our first visit to Mr & Mrs C's today. Great to see a vegan menu is available. Very tasty hummus and falafel sandwich for me, nice salad (love balsamic vinegar) with it and superb vegan cupcakes. Sorry about all the crumbs under the table but our little 3 and a half year old enjoyed it too!

Great little coffee shop/café tucked away in Wakefield. Fantastic décor, excellent staff, competitively priced and amazing coffee and cakes. Gluten free options available too. Child friendly too (I counted enough high chairs for every table even though my toddler was the only one in there). My favourite find of the month :-)

We normally go to Marmalade on the Square but it is always packed and when we managed to find a table there was not a menu in sight. We gave it up as a bad job and went next door to Mr & Mrs C's. The food was amazing, service was quick and the atmosphere was lovely. We have been converted and won't be returning to MOTS!

Fairly priced, good quality items (the cakes appeared to be Costco ones when we visited but that's not a negative, they're great) and good service. We managed to pay twice (once when my wife ordered and a second time when I went in to get another item) but this was rectified quickly once they were made aware. Limited seating available outside for the current situation but worth waiting for if you're in that area and want a quick refueling stop.

A nice cafe, nothing amazing, but an easy place to stop. I had a BLT sandwich, the bacon was good quality and it was around £4.50 with a small side of crisps. I also had a flat white, this was more like a latte, but they didn’t completely burn the milk like most places do so that was nice. There was lots of staff in on a Saturday but they all looked rushed of their feet, but at least they weren’t understaffed. Great to see they provide high chairs as not everywhere does. Generally good little cafe.

Love it here! The staff are always welcoming and I love the atmosphere and the decor. A range of teas, coffees, hot chocolates and other drinks available and also loads of sandwiches, jacket potatoes and delicious bakes. The toilets are downstairs so a bit difficult for the less able to access but not an issue for myself personally. This is somewhere I will continue to visit when I am in and around Wakefield as it is ideal for catch ups with friends.

The atmosphere in this place is so charming and chilled. The food is unbelievable, everything is so fresh and there is a wide range of choice for vegans and people with allergies. We took our puppy up and sat outside. The service couldn't have been nicer. Would 100% recommend! Thanks again

My first visit this week. First impressions were very good. Lovely and bright inside and it was quite busy even on a week day. I ordered granary toast and a flat white. The two thick slices of toast came with a generous amount of butter and marmalade. The huge cup of coffee (too much for me) was more like a latte than a flat white though but overall it had a nice relaxed feeling and I will definately go again.

A lovely, traditional tea shop with a cosy atmosphere. The staff were very friendly & welcoming. I ordered a goats cheese, plum & walnut salad and cup of tea. Absolutely delicious. The homemade cakes were mouth watering. I would highly recommend!

It's a lovely place to eat. Lot's of choices, the afternoon tea is absolutely so worth the money . Table service, was better than some restaurant's . Well worth a visit. They have covid restrictions in place, if you are from the same household you can sit together, if not and they have room it's separate table's. Personally, I'll be going back.
