OUTSTANDING.
The food is AMAZING, the staff are very friendly , the whole experience is absolutely great
And can't go wrong with the early bird deal as well !
Never able to finish the food as the portions are generous .
We were offered takeaway boxes
Been there twice already, will be back for more
A great curry house in Wakefield, I recommend the early bird menu at £16 for 4 very generous courses. Staff very friendly, Ash is a top waiter with witty banter and a great guide around the menu. To top it all it is bring your own with no corkage charge. The restaurant is a well presented with a touch of classic and modern. Overall a great night out, food is top class, been to many and this restaurant is amongst my top 5. We will be back.
Buzzing curry (Punjabi style) restaurant on the fringe of the town centre.
Outstanding quality food served by friendly knowledgeable staff who are prepared to go the extra mile to make your visit a pleasure.
Comfortable, clean dining area. The early bird menu offer (Sunday - Thursday before 8pm) offers a raft of first class food at an incredible price point.
If you like curry then do yourself a favour, book a table and visit as soon as you are able. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
I had an amazing evening there. The server's gesture was very kind. He asked whether I am fasting as it is Ramadan, I said yes and he brought me fruits and dates to break my fast. The food was mouthwatering and very tasty. Their service was top-notch. Worth every penny. If you are nearby must visit to experience some tasty food. I am going back 🥰 again.
A great experience this evening with my family. The food was fantastic, great quality and served by such friendly staff. Ash particularly went above and beyond this evening to make suggestions, explain specialities and ensure we were happy. Would highly recommend. We will certainly be returning.
Warm welcome. The food was really well cooked and seasoned. My main was a little hot but thought I’d give it a try, not the restaurant fault. The chapatis were nice as were the popadoms. On the downside the seekh kebab as were very salty. Overall, impressed and I’ll be returning 👍🏻👍🏻
We’ve been eating at the Syhiba for a few years now and now is a good time to share what we have found. This is probably the friendliest Asian restaurant that we’ve ever visited. The food and service is amazing and the attention to detail is incredible. We visit here whenever we can and are never disappointed. We can’t leave a review without mentioning the team and in particular, Asif, who, we feel, considers us as family. He, together with his uncle and the team treat their customers with friendliness and respect. After leaving a review such as this, we do hope that it’s increasing popularity won’t make it too difficult for us to get a table 😄. We are very confident that you won’t be disappointed.
Great food . Didn’t get there till late but the staff were excellent and the food was so freshly cooked and tasty
Very busy, I would recommend booking in advance no matter what the day. The early bird special is well worth the money. It got really loud with everyone inside and the music, which was the only downside, but the food and service were amazing.
The restaurant staff are very friendly and welcoming. Ashley is a credit to your restaurant nothing is to much trouble. Always smiling and joking and happy to serve you. Ashley remembers your names from a previous visit. The food is always excellent will always go here for a curry. Well done Ashley 👍😉
Amazing as always 👍
Great food, great service.
Friendly and good banter with the group
First time at Syhiba. The food was good and service from the young chap was exceptional. The £12.95, 5 Meal Course is good value, although calling it 5 Meal is a stretch.Very little choice of Deserts. The restaurant was a bit cold with no real atmosphere. Cash only meant I had to run to a local cashpoint. Overall good and definitely worth returning.
The food here was really good and incredibly cheap. They do a deal where for £12.95, you get five courses. The staff were all friendly and attentive. They don't have an alcohol licence, but that works out cheap again, as you can easily grab whatever drinks you want from the Morrisons across the road. No corkage fee either. I'm only scoring a four however, as not taking card payments is a big no for me and the toilets really aren't the best. I would eat here again though.
We have been here three times now and every time the service, food and atmosphere have been outstanding. The early bird deal Sunday to Thursday before 8pm for £15.95 is great value and the standard of the food is not compromised. You get poppadoms and pickle tray, a starter, a main and a side then a tea or coffee. There is a £2 extra charge for masala fish starter which is what I chose and it was light and fresh, perfectly cooked with a lovely crisp coating. I then had chicken tikka Masala, this was beautifully spiced and not like the usual bright pinky red you get from your average takeaway. The chef would rather you had your main as spicy or mild as you like it so don't worry if it's too spicy ask them and they will make sure it's right. You can order soft drinks only but you can bring your own alcohol in, they being jugs of water to your table. I highly recommend Syhiba.
