Decided to visit a few times before giving my review, so after our 4th visit I am still trying to find a fault. I have had four different meals and can not fault the food or service, what is a joy about this place is the staff they are all so helpful and know the menu so well. Me and my wife like nice food at a good price and you get great food at the best price at the white hart .

Out for a drive from Retford, came across this pub and decided to have dinner. Absolutely beautiful Sunday roast with perfectly cooked veg. Now we know why it was packed out. Will definitely venture out that way again for dinner. Will book next time. Lovely friendly staff too. Thanks for a great meal and great friendly service. X

Great food. Staff friendly and courteous. I’ve been 5+ time and will always return (as long as there is steak pie on the menu)

A lovely, welcoming village pub serving good quality food and produce. Myself and my family have had plenty of meals here and every one of them has been thoroughly enjoyable. The staff are always in hand and nothing is too much trouble. The White Hart has a nice ambience and it is always an enjoyable experience for everyone! Keep up the good work

Called lunchtime for food. Went in the restaurant side. Good menu large portions cost around £13 LUNCH MENU still generous portions £9.95 Had large Steak Pie Chips Peas & Gravy. Lovely food, but should have had the lunch menu size. Good menu choices. Staff & chef excellent. Will definitely be having regular lunches at The White Hart. Called again last week, had lambs liver & onions with mash, peas & Gravy. One was large portion (£12.95) other was lunchtime menu (£9.95). I know liver is an acquired taste and not everyone's choice but it was superb. I attach photos of both meals showing the difference in portion size. Next visit will be Yorkshire Pudding filled with Sausage & Mash.

I must say a big thank you to The White Hart. We had a reception to celebrate my granddaughters christening. Firstly the staff were very friendly courteous and very efficient. The food was plentiful and delicious and it was a perfectly set out venue for us to celebrate this special day. Just perfect.

Just wanted to compliment the staff and the fantastic food at the White Hart. We had a family celebration there last week and they went above and beyond to make our experience exceptional. Other pubs would learn a thing or two from the white Hart. Thank you so much for everything, your efforts didn't go unnoticed.

Very friendly attentive service. You need to be very hungry before eating here! Vast portions of traditional tasty home cooked food. Unfortunately we didn't have room for pud! Next time....

Very attractive pub in a pleasant village. Good car parking. Varied menu catering for full meals to lighter bites. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. For lunch i had chilli con carne - it was very well presented and everthing was freshly prepared. All washed down with a pint of John Smiths. Champion!!

Been coming here for a couple of years and the quality and portions of the food are as great as ever. The steak pie and quiche are particularly noteworthy.

Excellent food and huge portions - if we had realised the Ploughman's was enough for two, we'd have shared! The staff are friendly and helpful.

Been here previously and as before the quality of service is first class! Polite cheerful staff, and the meals are terrific. Easy access for disabled. Free Wifi available too. Located in the rural village of Wadworth, just outside Doncaster its position is ideal if your down for the Races. Beer garden and ample parking. Lovely Pub, Lovely Staff and Lovely Meals.....what more can you ask for? 10/10

We came a year or so ago and had a delicious Sunday Roast. Today, the beef was nice and tender but a little dry and over cooked for my personal taste with not enough gravy. Everything else was spot on though. We didn't get any cheese sauce as advertised but it was too late before we realised so there was no point in asking for it. Overall a lovely family outing though.

Food is delicious! I order d quiche of the day - well sized portions (although for me a bit more quiche and less spuds would have been perfect!). It was delicious I would go again

Called in for first time for a meal ,had the quiche, the presentation was lovely and food was nice,if I had to pick one negative ,I didn't like the taste of oil the chips were cooked in. The chocolate fudge cake looked and tasted great, good sized portions of food. The staff were lovely and friendly and the restaurant was spotlessly clean. Generally a positive experience and I'm quite picky with my food, I would definitely go back and try something else from the menu.
