My family and I visited last night for a meal out, a big table of 9 but the staff handled us brilliantly.
Service was spot on and all the staff very friendly and accommodating.
I had a medium rare 10oz steak which was cooked to perfection and tasted Devine. There were no complaints about the food
We had a lovely warm welcome by Maggie who then proceeded to look after us for the evening. The service was prompt and Maggie was very polite and helpful. Our food was really delicious, hot and fresh. It was one of the best steaks we have ever had. We wished we had more time to stay for desserts. We
Staying at the Travelodge opposite the pub. Went for some food and there were issues in the kitchen. Very limited menu, due to the problems and also a new member of staff just starting. All credit to the management as they were short staffed and got the food out which was excellent.
The staff were just amazing so friendly and spoke to everyone including the child in the group. Offered colouring pencils which was lovely.
Staff were prompt on getting to us for drink orders then back to take our food order.
The trio of roasts was just incredible one of the best roasts I have had
The service was very good from walking in to being served. The waitress was very attentive. There was a good selection of gluten free. Unfortunately the Sunday lunch dropped the rating. The beef was very tough, a poor cut of meat.

First impressions were sky high, nice scenic across Camel valley. Spacious car park complete with a rapid electric charge point that works, and everything is clean, so care is taken, full marks so far!👍🏻

Was served by Kaz, was my aunties birthday and she made it so special brought food out with a candle.. amazing service friendly and helpful really enjoyed will come again lovely food too
Visited the pearl and trawl, all the staff are very friendly and attentive, couldn’t do enough for us.
Mum had the hunters chicken, dad had the signature burger and I had the sausage and mash, all food was very good quality.

Not been here for 2 years due the way place was back then, but back there tonight and on every level it is significantly better! Food was really good. Service from all the staff, especially Becky was awesome! Keep up the good work, will be back very soon!
We came here for a late lunch so it wasn't very busy at the time.
Place was cozy and clean. The staff were very polite and helpful. We enjoyed the food and coffee. We were there on a thursday when steaks were discounted, so we felt we received a very good meal for a decent price.
After a very wet holiday we made our booking for a last treat before we travelled home immediately afterwards.
It did not disappoint! We had the 3 courses for £18. Tasty food, good portions and excellent service. Everyone really enjoyed it. Thank you.
Booked on-line and asked for a nice seat as its my birthday. Well we got a nice seat with a birthday card balloons and a happy birthday banner. Such wonderful staff and great food made my 70th birthday very special and the car charged up while we dined.
Absolutely brilliant, from the time we walked in until we left we couldn't have been made more welcome. Service was excellent, the food hot and the portions generous. Highly recommended, well done.
The food was great. The steak in the mixed grill was cooked just as I asked. I tried the tika, and that was lovely as well. Very friendly staff as well. Great pub, great food, and the views are brilliant. I would recommend trying this pub if you're in the area.
