Went for my birthday meal on Saturday night and it was exceptional!! Becky made my evening so special, she is a credit to the pub! Food was also amazing!! We will definitely go again
Our group took over the place for a few days for a wedding and I have to say it was the best! Great staff, great food, great accommodations. While my wife and I flew here from Florida, many of our inmates were Brits. All of us felt the inn was beyond reproach. Thank you again to Rebecca who coordinated our group visit with my wife, which made her task that much easier. Well done!
We only called in for a drink, it was very busy with a good atmosphere. The food looked good and we received a warm, friendly welcome. I checked out the menu and we will most definitely return for some food.

Interesting specials board and the food is of the highest order; not over-fancy fine dining, but good ingredients cooked really well and priced fairly. Travelled from Manchester for lunch and well worth the trip
We had a marvellous meal here at the Higher Buck, I could not rate it more highly. Lovely mackeral, black pudding scotch egg and cheese soufflé. Steak and mushroom pudding was tasty and the desserts, were most worthy
Had lunch here with my wife after walking from Clitheroe. Food excellent. Staff very friendly and efficient. Going again on Saturday night
Only stopped for a coffee with friends on day out but such a warm welcome by friendly staff that we would love to return and stay for a few days. Beautiful area to explore with many pretty villages.
We've eaten here twice now and the menu choice is excellent - there are also daily specials. The food is beautifully prepared and presented and is delicious. Staff are really friendly. Great location (pretty village of Waddingtom). Highly recommended

Amazing night sleep! The beds are fantastic, beautiful rooms, great breakfast and very friendly staff! Downside was soap was missing from our room, but that was a quick fix. Thank you for letting us stay!
Fabulous. Upmarket, well presented, Delicious food, in a lovely upmarket setting with really Excellent service. Here is to a place that realises you need more than one poor harassed person serving 1000 customers! Well done Higher Buck.

Dined there this afternoon. Absolutely top drawer. Service impeccable. Food was an utter delight, from the excellent starters, fantastic mains, heavenly desserts to the best mulled wine I've had all Christmas. We will be back. Excellent!
