A hidden gem we found off the beaten track. The cream tea was THE BEST I've ever had. The scones were beautifully soft, a huge pot of jam and cream and a pot of tea with extra water and extra tea. We sat in a little nook next to a small waterfall and had the company of a little Robin. Rustic but absolutely charming.

Nice little place. No cost for entry there's a walk round a pond with things to see and under the cafe a mini museum with old mill equipment to look at. Then there's a cafe to enjoy.

This is a lovely place to have an amazing monster doorstep sandwich for lunch. Made with quality, tasty ingredients to fill your tunmy. The cakes looked amazing too, but I didn't have any room! Coffee was great, not wishy washy stuff you sometimes get. Location is unique based around the old mill. It's totally down to earth and relaxed. This should be top of your list when you're in the area and want to fill your tummy. 😊

Quirky rustic place to eat! Pizza nights run during the summer months. Spaced out eating spots around the mill. Fairy lights and arches make this an enchanting place especially in the evening. Fire pits add to the outdoor rustic dining experience. Wine, bottled lagers and soft drinks served along side freshly made pizza's cooked in the pizza oven on site. Definitely worth a visit.

We experienced our first pizza evening yesterday and we can honestly say we was not disappointed one bit. A lovely location, nice wood fired pizza - nice and thin! Don't hesitate to get booked in and enjoy.

Absolutely magical. Proper hidden little gem. Getting there can be a bit challenging due to the little roads. Lovely little lake. The waitress who brought our order was a abrupt but this didn't detract from our lovely experience

Wonderful little place. A fun little nature walk for young and old alike. Excellent cafe with lots of tasty food options, including cream teas. Very generous portions and really well priced. The little shop is a nice spot to purchase from local artists. Will recommend to all our friends and hopefully visit again soon!

Melinsey Mills is an eccentric & different place to have a tea or homemade lunch in a hidden spot in a Cornish Valley near Truro. The place has a very interesting and antique mill that is currently working. The cafe is set around a pound with rustic tables and chairs, you can walk around the pond to see a display of curiosities that made the walk interesting. The food and service was good. Nice experience in a different place.

Great place, sit by the pond watching the fish jump or sit indoors. Lovely, freshly prepared food. Good coffee and scrumptious cakes.

Beautiful little place, I had a delicious hot chocolate. We got to sit and chill in the outside hut, watch the dragon flies and tiny trout. The little quirky walk around the lake is worth it, if you need cheering up. Dont wake the troll haha

What a gem. Delicious home made food in a delightful setting. Perfect for kids or adults. Even on a cold day I would highly recommend. Go for the hot soup and bread whilst sitting near a real fire looking out at the pond.

Such a beautiful place and had we not have took a wrong turn, we would never have found it. It was meant to be. The ploughman's lunch and cream tea were delicious. Can't wait till next year so we can visit again.
