Well, I’m not sure what’s happened previously but I had a very good experience today, and there were a number of other smiling faces around.
My expectations of supermarket cafes is always low, I normally feel that they have a captive audience. But today I had lovely staff, helpful as I am a dummy.
I had the English breakfast and a coffee. Only 1 machine working today but no queue.
The cappuccino was strong, smooth and hot with the bonus of a chocolate shaker to hand.
The breakfast was lovely, hot, on a warm plate with enough food for me and I’d just done a 43km bike ride.
I’m happy to give 5 stars

Food took 2 hours which gave me time to consider my life choices absolutely brilliant

Excellent breakfast yesterday Tues 19 July
What a lovely surprise! We went there for a Sunday morning breakfast before a long walk in the forest. What a treat! Everything was perfectly cooked & well presented. The staff were very friendly & cheerful. Very polite & helpful too. The prices were a bargain. We will certainly be returning in the future.

I really like this cafe, it's got a good atmosphere, really good food, quality and large selection, the breakfast is only £4.50 and it's huge. Kids eat free after 3pm on weekdays. Good selection of tasty cakes. Staff are always friendly. What's not to like
Lovely breakfast. Bit short staffed so service bit slow but staff very calm. Only thing I didn't like was through the hatch I saw the staff hand placing a sausage on the plate. Tongs would be better.
Fantastic value for money with a great selection on the menu. The service is very good and fast and the area is kept very clean. Staff are friendly and happy to help with whatever you need.
Always lovely food, quick to come and friendly staff. They used to do refills but stopped it a while ago which is a shame, I usually had an extra one!
Really good , do the shopping , put it in a storage locker , order your food and eat it then sit and watch the passing show ( we seem to be getting fonder and fonder of that still never mind ) . I think we paid about £6.50 , its so cheap and the staff are all lovely .
Food was fine. Staff were really wonderful. Had to clear your own tables. Don't like that.

Been here a number of times now for breakfast and it has always been very good. With being so reasonable eating here is a no brainer.
Quick friendly service. Happy to change mash for chips (much to my 11year olds delight) with plenty of choices for mains and pudding Good value for money
