Yet another fantastic breakfast at besty and spinky's. In the many many years we have been going we have never anything but the best breakfast's. Best on the island!
Most cafés can do great food piled high... But what made us keep coming back to Besty and Spinky's was the friendly, efficient service from all the staff. You don't find that everywhere, you either have it or you don't. It makes all the difference and makes the food taste even better! Not to mention the best location in town!
We loved the food as did the kids. Cheers guys, nice to catch up, see you next time! �

Yet again drinking on the seafront with my island mother sue who treats me like her own daughter and keeps me in check! Sitting outside the island shaped paddling pool and the boat making place with the
bar/restaurant at the front looking out at the bay of Ventnor with a pint of Budweiser! Was here last night for one of my little sisters 21st birthday party and not only was every single member of staff that was working last night very warm and welcoming but also had a laugh with all of us at the party and the only place in Ventnor that I and other people at the party remarked actually enjoyed drinking where the staff wasn't being rude, stuck up the atmosphere made by the staff and other friends and family at the party it wasn't like we was in a bar it felt like it was a house party that everyone including the staff was enjoying themselves ect... It's was like the staff was also friends and enjoy the party too and will now be making this place my local instead of the not saying the name stuck up rude staff and stuffy inside and it's got a far better view! :-) if I could give it more then 5stars then I would and the prices was cheap too! Best place staff and atmosphere wise not only in Ventnor but on the island! Even now the time I've been sat outside with my friend with different staff members from last night it's still warm and welcoming. Xx

Great front of house people!!! So welcoming towards kids and grown ups!!! The kids menu is great and so large! As for the grown ups even better! And as for the price of the Peroni!! Under a fiver?!? Brilliant!! We always stop here every Easter holiday and as the kids get older the more they enjoy it and finish their plates!! Can't wait to come back in the summer!!

Fabulous lunch with super service near the Ventnor paddling pool. Lovely outlook over the sea and marina. We very much enjoyed the fresh crab sandwiches and the smoked haddock patties. Highly recommend.
Perfect for families with a great location near the paddling pool and beach. Very fast and friendly service and good range of food for the family. Even on a busy August bank holiday weekend the staff were friendly and professional and service was fast. They really know how to look after families and do a great job.
The food was lovely and great value for money. It’s right by a water area for kids. When one of our members was hungry they brought out a extra piece of toast. And quick delivery. Overall a great place to go.
What a fabulous experience we had here. My friend and I were cycling around the island and had planned to stop elsewhere but found ourselves here after a wrong turn. We were very warmly welcomed and offered some menus. We didn't go for coffee because it wasn't up to my friend's very high standard but a good barista doesn't come cheap so we were happy enough to opt for tea. We noticed a chocolate slice on display but no cakes or pastries so we chose to share a waffle with strawberries, which was delicious. Since we were sharing, they very kindly offered to put it on two plates, and it was delivered promptly and with cheer. We only go to the island once or twice per year but we would definitely go back here.
What a gem of a place! We went on a busy Sunday morning and received such a warm and friendly welcome and were found a table quickly despite the high numbers of customers.
Food was outstanding - huge portions, best quality and so tasty.
Great views and buzzy atmosphere.

I rarely post reviews unless somewhere is somehow outstanding. This was outstandingly good. We happened across it on a rainy Monday evening and boy, what a find. Arriving less than an hour before closing time there was no quibble about us wanting a meal which was quickly prepared and brought to our table obviously freshly cooked. The scampi and chips was tasty and not greasy. The Cajun chicken was not at all dry and not over dosed with chilli allowing the flavours of the spices to come through nicely. Portion size was generous, even with the kids meal our grandson had. The only fault really was with the piped music: the content was pleasant, and it was at a nice volume, but it sounded tinny - as if it was being played on a cheap 1970’s transistor radio. Overall, a very good experience.
I actually ate here more than once which in itself is unusual as like to try different places but I'm going to hand out top scores for this place. Food was lovely, staff were lovely. If I'm ever back in town, I'll head straight there
The service was great and the food was fantastic and quickly served. I had a full English and it was awesome. I would highly recommend a visit here. If you like good coffee then they serve Lavazza here and it is good.
I love how we were able to bring the dog in and she was made to feel welcome.
Nipped in for a quick lunch. Portions were very generous - the fish and chips were fresh and crispy and the tartar sauce was fab!
The fish finger sandwich was also tasty.
Great views, inside and outside seating, very attentive staff, nice food and drink options. Alternate breakfast options, well cooked wholesome meal. A bit pricey than average place but considering this in the island makes justifiable. In summer let the kids play in lido and enjoy drinks/food in the cafe outdoor area.

If you want a good full English breakfast, this is the place to go! They have lots of other options on the menu aswell. You have nice view of the sea. The staff are very polite amd friendly.
As ever great food at Besty & Spinkys both breakfast and early evening meal. Freshly cooked, good portions and super friendly staff. Will be back soon.
Great full breakfast with quality produce, cooked to perfection. Excellent service and reasonably priced. Great seafront location with comfortable dining room and patios. Definitely make a visit when you're in Ventnor!
Service is outstanding, with friendly staff and everything very well organised. Breakfasts are excellent and with views across the sea front, this place really is great.
This is a brilliant place in the summer and with the paddling pool outside it made it even more fun. Food and drinks are reasonably priced given this is a popular area. Could do with more draught beer options..... Brooklyn lager is not my favourite but it will do.
On one of the Fridays last week of August they had a live band there which was just great and added to the atmosphere. Whilst the kids play in the big paddling pool, adults can enjoy the music.
Plastic cups for beer outside by paddling pool to avoid glass breakages. Very kid friendly place.
