The Bistro is our favourite eating out place on the Island. Fantastic menu and staff. Wonderful food cooked by Andy.
We recently celebrated our Golden Wedding there with our family and were treated like Royalty.
My 1st visit to the Bistro last night, and I must say I was very impressed. My friend & I had a wonderful meal, which included the Ventnor Bay crab ramekin as a starter, followed by the fillet steak. The service was excellent (our waitress Emily was amazing), the wine was lovely & the cocktails were gorgeous. Thank you. Will be returning very shortly :)
The food is great (Andy the chef really knows his stuff) and you are always made to feel welcome. We have never had a meal there that we haven't thoroughly enjoyed.

The best steak I have had on the island so far! Accompanied by a sublime sauce. How I have overlooked this place is a travesty to my tastebuds. Highly recommended!

Great restaurant with a good menu and specials board. Welcoming and attentive staff who made some good recommendations. Food was good of a little pricey. One of my party ordered steak which came covered in thick gravy - would have preferred (expected?) this to be on the side. Everything else very good. Booking essential. Would go back.
First night opening and a fabulous find for our wedding anniversary celebrations while visiting the island. The duck was amazing as were the cocktails and desserts. Highly recommend.
We had a fantastic meal here. All four dishes we tried were absolutely great and the portion sizes were very generous! The white wine we had was also excellent for a cheaper option on the wine list. Staff were friendly and very good with my girlfriend's nut allergy. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice, the service was not rushed and courses came out at good intervals. The quality here was genuinely surprising- Ventnor has come a long way in culinary terms!

Such good food and great service. Marinated herring with coleslaw, seafood linguine, red berry cheesecake with apple pie ice cream. All wonderful! Others in the party had equally fantastic dishes.

Small restaurant just off the seafront. Super atmosphere and attentive staff. Varied and interesting menu, the food when served was delightful. Would return without hesitation.
Loved it here. Food was delicious. They didn't have a specific kids menu but they offered to adapt meals from the main menu and charged a lower price. As I have a nut allergy dessert can sometimes be tricky for me but again they easily accomdated me and I got to have the fabulous floating island with possibly the best custard I ever tasted. Staff were friendly and welcoming. I'd highly reccommend.
Stumbled upon this place and it’s a 100% gem. Food was delicious and great value too. Cocktails were dangerously good. All the starters were particularly first class. Would revisit for certain.
