I visited this restaurant with my family who spoke highly of it and I have to say I wasn't disappointed. The food was so delicious and authentic and the great thing was they're quite flexible in how mild or spicy you would like a certain dish. Anything you don't see on the menu they will try their best to cook it for you. Lovely ambience and friendly staff. I will definitely be going back.

Went to lumbini in Uxbridge for the first time last night for a friend's birthday. I dropped a cake in before the rest of the party arrived and said we would all be back in half an hour. When we returned the staff had dressed our table with banners and confetti and I was overwhelmed that they had took it upon themselves to go that extra mile to make it so special. The food was amazing the staff were fantastic and I can't believe this gem has been sitting on my doorstep all these years and I've only just discovered it. Thank you so much for the most amazing night. Will see you all again very soon x

Great restaurant, amazing food, kind and helpful staff! Held a Diwali Party there for 40 people, they couldn't be more accommodating and the food just kept coming! Will definitely organise another party there. And of course use the restaurant.

Great food. Amazing service. We had our Christmas party for 70 people and the entire venue was professionally managed. Would highly recommend. All the foods in the buffet were good, the best were Lumbini Gobi and Fish for starters.

One of the best restaurant in London for best Indian cuisine. Trust me you will love the taste and hospitality. Right on the main street, by the flowing rivulet with nice decor. Prices are also very moderate.

Always delicious food. Always greeted with a smile and made to feel welcome. My wife and I have eaten at the restaurant a couple of times and have always thoroughly e joyed the experience, they have all the usual Indian dishes you might expect but the Nepalese dishes are a Must! Some really delicious new flavours to try. The takeaways we have got from here have also also been very fresh and well prepared. Price is affordable for the quality of food that you get here. Would highly recommend!

Always great here. They never get too busy and the staff are all very friendly. I would say if a Nepalese restaurant says a curry is hot they mean it though! Pretty sure I cried a bit but I couldn't stop eating because it was so delicious. The atmosphere is always very welcoming and the restaurant is nicely laid out and clean. Will go back again and again :)

We left the area 6 years ago but had dinner here again tonight. The food and service was just as good as remembered-if not better. Really tasty food, good portions and excellent value. Staff are polite, interested, funny and genuinely care. Will eat here again if back in the area. Although we were both full after the meal, at no point was the food heavy or cloying.

The food is always very good and tasty but more attention to takeaway orders is needed, the last three times we've had a takeaway food has been missing from the order and we've had to phone and wait for the rest, this is both unnecessary and frustrating. Also the drivers seem to completely ignore any added delivery instructions. The delivery service doesn't do justice to the food.

I've wanted to come here with my family for a few years after being told how good it is by friends who life local to the Lumbini. I've finally eaten there tonight for my wifes birthday and was not disappointed, the management had a lovely table made up for us with birthday dressings. The owner was very helpful and a good sense of humour and offered to choose our meal for us (what a great decision to let him choose) we had an amazing variety of food and flavours at a reasonable cost. I would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning even though we don't live near local. Many thanks again for an amazing evening.

We came for the Sunday "buffet", which basically amounts to an all you can eat set menu, and it was really delicious. Every item was tasty and we've left well stuffed! Under £30 for two people, including drinks, great attentive service and lovely food. What more could you ask for?

Very attentive and friendly staff. Delicious food! Goat was melt in the mouth. Baby aubergine devine. Freshly cooked. Great ingredients. If it's always this good then we'll be coming back, again and again! Highly recommended! :D

The food is tasty and selection wide. The goat curries are recommended and spice levels are just enough to make the nose drip but without burning. Portions are generous and staff keen to be attentive.

Very good! Uxbridge is a bit of a desert for Curry Houses - Lumbini is a nice addition. Just 5 minutes walk from town centre, over the canal - in a nice, old Mill building. Very friendly welcome, huge menu and good food - with some unfamiliar choices. Prices seemed fine to me and we've almost forgotten the little accident with the wine.....

One of the best curry houses in London. I've tried a few of them (including some fancy Michelin starred curry places in London) and I can say that the food here is by far one of the best! The service is friendly and very helpful. House specialities are a must have. Highly recommend!
