We popped in for a roast dinner and had the rib of beef on the bone roast which on the whole was lovely: the meat was a little fatty but we haven’t had it before so perhaps that’s how it’s meant to come? We dropped in today to use the car charger, then decided to stay for a meal. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and got us seated straight away. The food arrived quickly and was excellent (Sunday lunch - busy but efficient!). It really made a long day of travelling much easier to bear.

We came for the Sunday roast and it was amazing. We had the trio roast and the pork belly, both really great. The crackling in both is the best I’ve had. Very good food. Very friendly staff. I would definitely come back.

Just came back from my first trip to the swan and Bottle. Had a great evening with some friends. The food was fantastic, with good-sized portions and reasonably priced. The service was very good. We were served by a dark-haired girl with a nose ring, and she was very attentive and very polite.

A very decent canal side greene king pub. Small but tasty separation of vegan food and good drinks on tap, well priced and the staff are fantastic! Highly recommended and as it’s right on the canal you can go for a lovely walk afterwards to let your food go down.

Got the pork belly and turkey sunday roasts, pie and halloumi, was all lovely! Service was excellent and puddings were delightful! Even got 20% NHS discount off which was a bonus.
An early Saturday dinner, staff were very tentative. Not entirely sure though how you can justify charging £1.99 for a small pot of peppercorn sauce to accompany the steak. What's next, charging separately for salt and pepper too?
