I was surprised and absolutely delighted when my wife and I had lunch here. The menu is exciting and the dishes we had were very well executed. We both had Bao bun meals. 1) Soft shell crab 2)Crispy squid. Both were super, super, super. My iced yuzu tea was delicious. I want to go again.

The best Japanese food I’ve ever tried here. The food taste awesome and the quality and the price everything was perfect to go for lunch or dinner anything. The food taste good and fresh. I do recommend this Japanese restaurant to go and try any BAO or Rice Bowl. They have many more options to eat but I do love chicken bao and rice 🍚.

This place is fantastic. We dined in at around 2pm and had the set katsu chicken, Egg tuck bao, pork toast, spring roll, corn fritte, lychee mojito and rice pudding for desert. Each dish was extremely tasty and well presented. Staff were friendly and the service was very fast. I'm not from the area but we would definitely go here again when next in Uxbridge.

Amazing lunch, including the Miso soup. The staff were very warm, friendly and helpful. I will highly recommend this place. Also, I’ll recommend all the main courses and soup must be eaten when fresh and hot!! Definitely will visit again 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

Really quaint little cafe with a fair amount of choice. I had a spice lamb boa bun and the husband had a katsu curry boa bun. Both were super tasty and reasonably priced and just the right size for a quick lunch. Would go again.

I can hardly describe how good this place is. Amazing flavours in simple, freshly prepared food. The pork toast is Michelin star flavours! If it was twice as expensive it would be cheap. Just incredible.

I love this place, the buns are amazing and I want to try everything! Tea is presented beautifully and I've so far loved everything that I've ordered and everything has been so tasty. If you don't know what to go for there's photos on the wall of their food to help, I personally recommend a bao meal. It's your choice of bao with a small salad and sweet potato fries. The aubergine bao and squid bao have been really delicious. Lovely place and staff, just wished it was open for more hours so I could come after work.

The food is fresh, full of flavour and colours. If you are around the Uxbridge High Street it is worth stopping to have your lunch there.

I don’t have the words to describe how good the food is here. All the food they prepare, has so much love and thought put into it. I had the Yuzu Tea drink and the Udon Soup with tempura prawns. The soup is immaculate; the flavour is addictive and the heat isn’t overwhelming at all. For all of this it was only £13 and it was prepared for me in 10 mins. Perfect for lunch breaks 👏

Very good quality food. Very tasty. Reasonable priced and very quick service. Lunchtime was busy and we were served very quickly. The ordering process is a simple tick box choice. We will be returning. They only take cash. Try the flower tea!

I wish I could give 6 stars! Tasty, classy, imaginative food, served with a genuine friendliness, and yet very affordable. I don't live anywhere nearby, but I'm already trying to think of excuses to book another trip to the area, so I can dine here again. Open until 7 only on Friday and Saturday, the rest of the week only open until 3, so adjust plans accordingly - you won't regret it! I wish the owners would relocate to Mirfield, West Yorkshire; we be queuing down the street for this cuisine! A range of food and drink is available from Japan, China and environs. The tempura Oreos with Michi ice cream is fabulous, as is everything else on the menu.

Wonderful little hidden gem. Truly delicious dishes, run by a very warm Chinese family, cute and well decorated. Always warm and inviting, reasonably priced and truly special.

Nice and simple and straightforward. No needless embellishment or complications so the food is able to speak for itself. In terms of the dishes, there isn't much to dislike in how they have been conceived - these are relatively classic taste pairings. I took the squid bao and had it as the full meal option which comes with a coleslaw and sweet potato fries. My only complaint with the food is that the bao bun, which in many ways should be the star of the show, was a little stale. Less like a happy little cloud and more like an OK piece of bread. Not a disaster but still a bit of a shame. The yuzu ice-tea I took was tasty. The interior of the restaurant is very relaxed and feels friendly. Staff were nice.

a small delight, go and admire the inventiveness, integrity and graft of the people who run this for some years now, bringing something blessedly original to terribly boring Uxbridge centre eating. Crispy crab Bao is really worth a detour, always consistently good, miraculously concocted in a tiny kitchen. Cute touches trying to brighten a small sticky space. Update - expanded menu with really good udon and rice in bigger portions and fab ceramics. And takes card payments now. Perfect.
