We visited two nights in a row whilst staying at Alton Towers. The friendly service and delicious, good value meals made it a great night. Last night our waitress (who’s been there for some 15 years) impressed us all with her knowledge and friendly manner. Looking at the reviews I wonder if they’ve improved things a lot as we are fussy Southerners � and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Our children were made very welcome and loved their choice of menu and the play areas. Beats the pants off the restaurants at AT!
Hubby and I had a fantastic meal last night . I had the steak and ribs off the specials board , the steak was delicious it melted in my mouth . The ribs were also delicious. Hubby had the bacon cheese burger he said it was great . Our waitress Hollie was lovely too . We will definately go there again 5*
First class pub food and great hospitality. I would recommend this pub to everyone.
Popped in on the way back from Alton Towers with kids in tow. The service is nothing short of amazing, nothing was to much trouble. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Asked for a medium steak...it was well done... So disappointing... Overall the meal was ok... The starter was really nice and could have quite easily had it again.... The point of Pedigree was good too...

Even though it was very busy we had wonderful service. Ordered meals,puddings and drinks thank you to all at The Dapple Grey we had a really special day in Uttoxeter.

A very warm welcome having booked a table for Sunday lunch with my elderly parents. Staff could not have been more helpful or courteous very accommodating too. Food was good with generous portions for Sunday lunch & burger & chips for myself. Keep up the good work! Well done!
Met a friend for dinner.
We were quickly greeted and seated at a table. The pub was clean and tidy.
We were explained how to use the QR code to order our food, which we did. The lovely waitress came to confirm our order was correct and it arrived in good time. Good was lovely, and all came well presented and hot.
All the staff which attended to us were polite and smiley, overall another very good experience. Thank you
Lovely restaurant. Food was brilliant. We were recommended to try here for food from a local lad while we were down here on holiday and it didn't disappoint. Very good prices for some brilliant food. Nice quick service aswell. 100 recommended!
Family dinner. We arrived late due to weather and traffic conditions. Our table was reserved so no problems. Food was good, very good portions. There was 2 children and 1 baby and 9 adults.
We were quite a large party and we were accommodated very well. All our meals came out at the same time and everything was right. I had brought a birthday cake for my son which was delivered to the the table with a knife and napkins. Overall an excellent experience made better by Ben who really made an effort to make sure everything was perfect. Thank you
Lovely pub, food was hot and tasty and prices as you would expect, they were reasonable. Staff were very pleasant and courteous. Will definitely be using again.
We were greeted at the door at 5.00, pre booked, and shown to our table. We ordered from the bar for food an drink, the food was lovely, very hot plates and food. The chips were delicious. We used the 30% off main meals deal. Just 2 gripes, the barman was very busy, I think it was well understaffed, and 2, the food took over 35 mins to come. Had a quick look round and not many people were in at that time. But overall excellent.

The young gentleman who took our fairly large and complicated order was super efficient and totally switched on to allergies.

We walked in at 8.59pm and they kept the kitchen open for us. The food was lovely, freshly cooked and the service was excellent. Staff were really friendly. Would definitely recommend.
The staff are friendly and welcoming, as always. The service was excellent. My only thing was that the food could maybe have been warmer when presented.This will not deter me in visiting again in the future.

A really nice pub to visit very spacious so you don’t feel like your sitting with another family you don’t know, a warm and friendly welcome, i never expect a lot from chain pubs through some bad experiences but gotta say the food here was lovely
We visited as a family of 11 to celebrate my niece’s GCSE results. Service was good although we did feel that the venue was understaffed (the staff who were there were great, particularly Becky, however they were very overstretched). We did have a few issues with the ordering app however these issues were resolved by the bar staff. The food came up quickly considering how busy they were (and also the warning of a 30 min wait). The food was very good, apart from the steak which was a little chewy. Becky sorted this however by offering either a replacement steak or a free pudding. Overall a really lovely evening and we will definitely be going back!

Stopped here for lunch mid journey booked at last minute as previous venue was flooded. Lovely friendly staff . Delicious food . Little confused by the Xmas Dec's and staff Xmas costumes. Thought we'd stayed on the motorway 2 months longer than we d planned to lol. Had our puppy with us and he was immediately brought a big bowl of fresh water. Originally visited as dog friendly as that was our main priority last minute, but so glad we found this little gem. Left full and happy and Marley definitely enjoyed his first pub experience.
