Beautiful 2 course meal for £10.99! Food was tasty and staff very efficient and friendly. Well worth a visit.
The best Sunday dinner I’ve had out! Only downside was my soup starter was cold. Man behind the bar was very friendly and welcoming. Even though it was Mother’s Day, we were seated at the right time and served straight away, there wasn’t a wait on food either. Thanks for making our Mother’s Day enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back.

Went to the hall in on 1st oct for Sunday lunch with my family, we all enjoy the food even my granddaughter loved it ! nice atmosphere, brilliant service lovely food we will be going again soon
Absolutely beautiful meat this evening with my husband and daughter! Lovely helpful staff, who managed to accommodate us although they were extremely busy and we hadn't booked! Couldn't fault the meal, excellent! We will definitely be returning!

Popped in for a quick bite after travelling back from holiday after searching area came across this pub so glad we found it. A warm welcome upon entering and friendly atmosphere food choice was great better than some big chain pubs and restaurants we have been to. food was well presented and hot mains were great my girlfriend said best chicken curry she has had and real chips my cottage pie was great fresh vegetables will be booking soon nice little hidden gem would recommend
Perfect service, perfect food and drink and also perfect atmosphere. I went fir the 2 course menu and had battered blackpudding with onion chutney starter and roast leg of lamb with a red wine jus served with new potatoes cabbage,leeks and carrots (£17.50 only) and my brother had steamed mussels in a cream and garlic sauce served with chips (£15) portions were lovely size and I can't recommend this place enough. There are some steps about but this is to be expected from an old building.
Nice pub. Full of locals all chatting. Staff are friendly and attentive.
The pub itself has a carpark out the front and a big outdoor seating area (front and back).
Out the back are some chickens and you can buy their eggs at 6 for £1.
The food is nice and reasonably priced. Worth a visit for some decent food and atmosphere.

A lovely little local pub that feels like you are out in the sticks, but actually very accessible from Caerleon, Usk and the A40. Less than 10 minutes drive from Raglan Castle.
Very welcoming Landlord and bar staff. I called in on the off chance for a little bit of food as I was alone on a road trip and despite being short on a member of kitchen staff, they still fitted me in for food.
No exaggeration!, as a vegetarian, I struggle to find a pub or even a restaurant that actually wants to serve up good food for "the veggie" and only put their all in to the meat dishes - however this pub food was the best food I have had! Their chips were stunning and I had the Mushroom Stroganoff (which wasn't on the menu but I was offered that as an alternative to the beef version) and it was absolutely gorgeous, freshly home made and not reheated stodge! Huge decent serving with loads of veggies, rice and chips! All at a very, very decent price!!!
I would highly recommend this surprising little gem of a place! I certainly will be back with my husband for that gorgeous food.
DRINKS - Again, very clean and tasty beer and ales on draught also at a very affordable price!

Visited while traveling towards Tenby. Great spot with a large, well kept garden. Superb ale and the food was excellent. I would definitely visit again.
The food was fabulous. Beef stroganoff divine. Service excellent and very nice Wye Vale brewery beers to savour.
My favourite place to eat. Always a lovely meal from here. Good portions, quality hearty food and friendly service!

Nice Pub with good food. They have goats sheep and chickens. So lots of fun for the kids in the beer garden
