I have been a regular customer at the darbar Indian takeaway in flixton greater Manchester for some years. I recently had an order go wrong. It was Father’s Day and I ordered online as usual but my order didn’t arrive. I believe it was was very busy that day. I contacted them and they delivered not long after. The mgr told me that order slip fell on the floor. I like honesty. When the food arrived it was to the highest standard as usual. A couple of hours later the door knocked, it was the owner of the Darbar coming to apologise in person. That meant a lot to me as he valued our custom . He didn’t have to do that as I knew it was a blip . I have ordered a couple of times since an the food has to the highest standard as usual. A big Thank you to everyone at the Darbar.

Why have I only given a 3 star review score???
First time user here.
I thought the food tasted good, I would certainly like to try it again.
However, my problem was that this takeaway has only acheived a 3 star rating on food hygiene, which to me is not acceptable and not good enough.
A 3 star rating means satisfactory, but to me that score is just about scraping through.
Any food establishment not receiving at least a 4 star hygiene rating , should not be in business.
Up your standards and I might try your food again.

Excellent service and accommodating with our order in regards to food alergies. The team went the extra mile to prepare our food separately to ensure no cross contamation and advised us on all the ingredients and allergens in each dish.
They take allergy concerns very seriously which is not something other local takeaways took on board.
The food was great also, and would highly recommend this takeaway.
Sorry for late review. We had a delivery 13/8/2022. Has there been a change in management as the food was totally different than in the past. The service missed things from order it just didn't taste or look the same.
Chicken tikka masala was very red and with the popper's there was only this illumanous green sauce. NO onions NO mango and NO mint sauce. Usually no complaints food has always been great.

This is my go to takeaway never disappointed always first class food.
Never, ever an issue with speed of delivery or quality and flavour of the food. Portion size very good to boot. All the delivery guys are friendly and courteous including the owner who is always happy to chat. We've had many, many meals from here, it's our go to place. Recommended!

Tried Darbar this evening after realising they deliver to me in eccles & it was amazing. Food was hot. Lamb chops were mega. Sadly didn't give it chance to take a pic for the review. Would highly recommend.
This is the 2nd time we have had a takeaway from Darbar Balti (obviously not on the same day ) and once again the food was excellent.
The owner even delivered the food himself - very nice guy.
We will definitely be ordering our Indian takeaway from Darbar Balti again.

Absolutely Excellent! Darbar Balti deserve a billion stars for their amazing food, delivery time and customer service but 5 🌟 it is! They are the nicest hardworking people and they make THE BEST chicken tikka massala Sauce and Samosas! If you’re looking for something new to try they have incredible dishes on the Chef Specialities which I’ve also tried and they’re soo tasty! I would highly recommend Darbar Balti - best Indian takeaway In Urmston..or the world!!? I’ve told everyone I know But GO order it you won’t regret it 😋 / also get their app before just eat its fab!

The Darbar has been are one an only take away for the last twelve years! Tried the rest but found the best, as they say! The staff is fantastic, very friendly and polite and the food - no matter what you order - is always absolutely delicious - never let us down once!! I was pretty horrified to read the poor reviews posted, given how many meals we've enjoyed from the Darbar. Suffice to say, I've just phoned them and placed a very big order. The team were friendly and very busy taking and dishing out orders.
First time I've order from here and Omg, I have to say one of the best Indian foods restaurant or takeaway I've ever had. They were quick from ordering to delivery and I even got a text to say it was on its way to me. So happy I ordered and will definitely be ordering again. I highly recommend if you enjoy Indian cuisine. Fish tikka masala is gorgeous 👌 xx
Order from the wrong takeaway I though it was the one on the roundabout never again will I order from hear! The starters where rOK but the main taste 3-4 days old sour and if you got a good nose for food you would jusmxhbt no somthing was wrong with its foul smell. I rang to say it was no good and they said tuff Save your money or order from some where else
