Absolutely stellar curries! Full of subtle and deep flavour, we ordered a lamb Karahi and garlic chili spinach chicken tikka, a garlic naan, aloo, pops and pilau rice. Great flavours and SERIOUSLY big portions. Perfectly spiced and not excessively capsaicin-laden. Actual great moreish flavours, distinctly different (unlike some other places I've tried recently). Just the right amount of garlic, delicious spinach and tender meat. Our dishes had heaps of everything to bursting point.
The online ordering process was easy, and although the delivery estimate indicated up to 90 minutes (peak time on Friday) it actually showed up piping hot in about half an hour. There was so much food it lasted for three days π and a reasonable price. Certainly one of the best curries I've enjoyed in the last couple of years. Subsequent repeat orders have confirmed they are consistently good quality, not just a one-off.
First time trying, as the amirah balti has closed, since taking over the mela,will definitely make this our regular takeaway now, the food was fabulous, red hot and delivered fairly quickly as the order we had was massive π―π―π
Just had a belting meal, son loved tikka masala, my lamb jalfrezi was spot on as were the breads, rice and complimentary poppadoms. The wife's saag gosht was lovely flavour just lacked on the lamb. Delivery early and all in all a good scran. π
Food was delicious again this evening. The young man on the counter is really courteous. Food always piping hot and order is always correct.

First time ordering from here and it wasnβt a disappointment, mixed kebab was wrapped up like a burrito which made it easy to eat and tasted amazing! The tandoori chicken also very delicious, great flavours and great customer service, will be ordering here again

A very nice gesture. This is what I would term the service of Spice of India as. When we ordered food from them, there are some mistakes in the order and when we called them 1st time, they were very apologetic, and then we hung up the phone. Later when we found another mistake in the food, when we called the owner's son came to our door step within 10 minutes to personally apologize and assured quality food next time onwards.
Next day morning, we find a sweet note under our front door with the full refund given to us by cash. The note also said, that they would deliver excellent food today at no cost for us, which we politely declined. Every restaurant makes mistakes, its not about that, its about correcting that and being sorry for what has happened, made us appreciate Spice of India a high respectable take away. Especially the owners son has a bright future if he values customers so much, as he did with us. An amazing young lad who is going to be very successful in his future taking his family's restaurant to a high level. Kudos to you mate and keep up the good service. We will happily order again from Spice of India. Thank you.

Very Good, would recommend here over any other takeaway in urmston. Staff are nice. Food is amazing and have never missed anything from my order. I ordered the wrong curry (mistake on my part) but was still very impressed. I usually collect and is always ready after around 10-15 minutes.

This takeaway is the best we have tried since moving to Urmston. We have only used delivery but the service is excellent. It always arrives before estimated time, always hot on arrival and the 2 delivery guys who have brought our order are always pleasant and friendly. It is cash only for delivery but can use cards if collecting.
