We're starting to be regulars here as the food is such good quality and the service is really friendly. We've been for breakfast a few times plus for dinner and had the burgers. Would really recommend that you give this place a try plus my son loves that fact that you get a free muffin with every coffee!!

Me and my friend have eaten there twice now. The staff are so friendly and they even let us bring our sausage dogs in. They even provided the dogs with water and treats. The food is just amazing. Could not ask for anything more. The place is so clean and tidy. Definitely recommend it to anyone.

Visited the bird i'th hand this lunchtime as a group of 8 adults, 6 kids and 3 dogs. One of our children has a special diet that contains no protein. The head chef could not have been more interested and accommodating regarding our special requests and cooked his prescription food to perfection at no charge! A real family pub, great decor and being dog friendly is an amazing bonus!

We hired out the function room here for two hours this afternoon for my little boy and nieces 2nd birthday party . The room was ideal and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The food for all the children was served on time and enjoyed by them all .We didn't feel pressure at all to rush out the room and would certainly consider hiring it again and recommend it to others x

One of the best pubs in urmston. Jimmy the landlord is always willing to go out of his way to help you as are all the staff. Only minor gripe is the outside which needs a revamp and possibly a couple of other things in the kids play area like a seesaw or something. Also, footballs should not be allowed outside as kids end up smashing glasses with them. Other than that i cant fault the place

Love this pub but sick of dog friendly pubs. They smell, sniff near tables where food is. A lovely pub tho, well laid out and lovely staff.

Fabulous and inviting from the outside. The interior design didn't disappoint. Choice of food and drinks excellent. Good outside space too. Will definitely be calling in again, especially as it is across the road from our favourite speciality butcher, Howarths.

Got more of a buzz now, James the manager is great and breath of fresh air. Had pizza, fabulous and good for watching the footy. Young man serving food and glass collecting, Remy? Awesome young man, keep it up!

I was extremely surprised by the quality of the food the service and the Family and dog friendliness of this place. Walks the dogs through our lovely green spaces and settled in for a lovely glass of Prosecco and a yummy fresh baked pizza from their ovens. Will definitely be going again and recommending all of my friends ! X

Had a great night here last Friday. Prosecco for £9.95 and great pizza. The atmosphere was really chilled, kids and dogs welcome and the decor is fab. Would definitely recommend.

Hired the room for a 70 th birthday party and was not dissapointed. The chap on the bar was lovely. Good service and very helpful. Ordered trays of sandwiches which were delicious but too many to eat. What was nice is that we were not pressured to leave at 7 even though thats when the booking finished. Well done would definately use you again.

A great pub. Superb friendly and efficient staff. A well kept pint of ale. A pity we Prescot Cables FC supporters don't play against Trafford FC more often.

Nice pub right next to Flixton Common, loads of free parking spaces. Good priced food and the kids ate free through the week. Food was very nice and the staff very helpful. We then went and sat in the beer garden as the sun was shining.

There's currently a deal on for half price main courses Monday to Wednesday so my friend and I thought we'd try it. They don't do pizzas anymore, but there was a good selection of mains including burgers, fish and chips, all day breakfast, Thai Red curry, mac n cheese, chicken dishes. My friend had prawn salad and I had a plant based burger, which came with fries and onion rings. Not bad for under £5 each meal. You order at the bar and they bring the food to you quite quickly afterwards. Really nice experience.

Really positive dining experience 😀 The new post-Covid menu is much more varied than the previous “pizza and burger” menu (which was also very popular in its own right). There’s now “something for everyone”, I particularly liked the Desperado burger with curly fries. The staff are both welcoming and attentive. Great for families as well with outdoor dining at the rear. I’d highly recommend a visit 😀

First time I've been in since it was renovated and what a change. The inside is bright, clean and spacious. Stylish seating inside and plenty of outdoor seating to the side and back. Friendly staff and a good selection of beer. The pizzas looked delicious and it's also dog friendly. Definitely somewhere I'll be visiting again.

Good local pub with very friendly staff. Not too pricey. Nice ambience but too many large TV screens for me. Only sampled the alcohol so can't comment on the food.

Popped in for a coffee and cheeky glass of red wine halfway round the dog walk. Great welcome (even to the dog). Uodate: Friday lunch - staff great, really friendly. Still dog friendly.

Lovely place to stop for a drink, ma says they make the best shandies. Nice garden area, some small areas that could use a little clean but they're very few and far between. Tables are lovely and well maintained, staff are brilliant and friendly.
