Decent Fish n Chip shop, everything just fine. Giant fish, generous chips portions, pleasant staff. Recent refurb looking at the previous photos posted.
Ordered ahead for 6 people, quick service and great food - all freshly prepared for us.
Was staying nearby and needed something for my tea and the portions were outstanding for under £20 to get a meal that could have easily fed 3 definitely in the back of my mind next time I'm in the city.
The best chippy in Chester by miles , the chips are always the right size and cooked perfectly. The fish isn't greasy just the right crisp and the fish is fresh and perfectly flaky. I wouldn't bother going anywhere else. The other chippy up the road counts the chips they put in your box.

Very clean and big variety. Had fish and chips, generous portions but felt the fish was a bit overcooked as it seemed to disappear into the batter

Had the fish dinner, a generous portion and only £7, fish was great, flaky with light crunchy batter, chips and peas good too. They also do kebabs, chicken and Chinese food, I usually think “Jack of all trades, master of none” with takeaways but the other stuff looked good and people were buying it so I will give it a try one day. A proper chippy.

I’ve been coming here for decades and unlike most chip shops, I have never had greasy, recooked, green or black chips from this one! The chips are always fresh and the fish is too and you get more fish than batter. The chinese meals are also amazing!
I travel across Chester past lots of other chippies to this one! That's because the fish is really fresh and is cooked on clean oil for just the right amount of time. Amazing taste👍😀
Quality food, cooked fresh at reasonable prices. Service is great. What more could you ask for. It's a solid 5 from me !
£5 for a regular portion of chips and 2 large sausages, Little pricier than what me and the Mrs are used to but the chips were nice and as expected the chippy sausage tasted just like that, a chippy sausage
