1st time back for quite a while as the menu which was changed before Christmas 23 was not lunch friendly. It has slightly improved but, where are baguettes, jacket potatoes, the humble sandwich? The menu is fantastic for an evening meal but NOT for lunch if you want something light.
Community pub serving local community and tourists… very good cask and craft keg selection on. And community shop on site selling cakes. Well worth a visit.
A lovely community run pub with friendly, local staff that made stopping here an absolute joy. We could park our motorhome in the car park for the night. The lovely and enthusiastic Jess told us about great local walks and made us feel really welcome. A small community shop is attached to the pub. W
This was the first time we had been to The White Horse for a while. Previously the food was average, but they have really upped their game and we had two great meals that were a compliment to the chef. While the prices have risen, the quality has vastly increased meaning it gave good value. We would
One of the best Sunday roast dinners I have had that wasn't cooked by him indoors or my mother. Lovely atmosphere, probably because it is a locals pub. Friendly and great service. We weren't kept waiting for anything. Will definitely go again.

Spent a lovely afternoon at this excellent pub. Good atmosphere, busy but not heaving - found a table out of the way we're our two dogs could sleep. Bar staff and locals all really friendly.
