Had a great lunch here. A very nice English Village Pub with a good beer garden and nice character interior. Staff were friendly and efficient and the food was to a high standard. The 'Hodd Burger' was delicious!! Highly recommended.
Nice place, our first date place , but disappointed as we turned up at 9.04pm and they wouldn’t serve food as they stopped at 9pm,😳, nevertheless, it’s a great place, good atmosphere, unfortunately, not that accommodating? They let us have cheese 🧀 which was nice though not enough.

We had lunch here for my Wife’s birthday and everything from start to finish was perfect. It’s a beautiful pub, with friendly staff and incredible food. My wife and I will definitely be returning and would highly recommend this place.

The Hoddington Arms is simply fantastic, we went for a Sunday Roast and it was excellent, the Yorkshires are giant !! The beef was cooked perfectly and the roast potatoes were definitely on point. Thanks to the whole team for yet another outstanding Luncheon.
A really warm welcome, excellent food, drink and service. And a lovely atmosphere. What more could you ask for?! We certainly left fully satisfied and feeling like it was worth every penny.

Lovely food and very friendly. The garden looks big, but was closed to winter. Been there twice in the afternoon and always busy. Book before you turn up.
Had a fabulous lunch here today, food was delicious. We were sat in the outdoor marquee and the set up makes you think you're indoors with attention to detail on lighting, decor and heating. Service was attentive and friendly and all in couldn't wish for a better experience.
It is one of our favourite places to go and have a lovely meal with friends. The food is fantastic and the service is brilliant, never pester you but are always there on hand, and very friendly.
Amazing food and amazing service, well worth going here people said it was awesome it defo is, food is great. Not the cheapest but walked away happy we all did.
I stopped here with a push bike & trailer, on a Saturday without a reservation at peak lunch time. Staff were very accommodating despite being fully booked and low staffed. Served me a delicious fish & chips and topped up my water bottles 👌 will come again with a reservation next time 👍
Had a fab meal with our extended family and everything was very good indeed. Steak, fish and chips, Halibut and crème brûlée were all excellent. Keep up the great work. Will be back next time I’m in the area!
Whilst on business in the area I went here for dinner. I sat in the garden and enjoyed my meal and relaxed. Staff were very friendly and service was excellent. Food was very nice too.
Warm, cosy atmosphere with friendly staff and a great drinks menu (albeit without cocktails). The food was delicious and great portion sizes not too much and not small. In door and outdoor seating with good covid safety measures. Will be coming back (after all the covid madness).
Don’t usually leave reviews, but food and service was excellent and complementary glass and a candle on our dessert for our wedding anniversary!

You will either arrive here by chance from a walk across the countryside, or drive here because you know the winding lanes away from the main highway.
