If I could give this a 6th, 7th & 8th star I would! It's small yes, but I think that gives this place something different, a little intimacy. The coffee is amazing, good blend with a good variety of milks to choose from. The selection of homemade cakes & savouries are out of this world, freshly made everyday, the cinnamon buns alone make me salivate. This place is just something different, but good different. Good good...

The best coffee we had since we moved away from London. Very nice and cosy place! Just wondering if you sell your coffee beans? P.S. Please open a shop in Leicester :)

Found this lovely cafe by chance on the Internet. We live just 40 mins away so decided to drive there for coffee & cinnamon & cardamom rolls. Delicious, well worth the drive. P.S can we order the lovely rolls to collect next time we are there?

Just been in here, had the hummus, advocado, chilli on sourdough bread (totally vegan), plus the banana bread as dessert......beautifully moist, sweet and light, highly recommend these guys!!!

I called in yesterday just to have a quick coffee, and was tempted by their amazing menu. I opted for, cream cheese, mashed avocado and a sprinkling of seeds and chilli flakes on lightly toasted sourdough bread. This was the most divine experience, such a fab combination and such great value for money, my little snack could have fed 2 people, but I was glad I was alone as I got to eat it all !

Amazing little place with great coffee. Simple food done well. Only downside is that we have to leave before it opens today so can't go again!

Popped over from Oakham to review for the Great Food Club. What a little gem! Fantastic, smooth chai latte and mashed avocado, chilli flakes and seeds on Hambledon sourdough really hit the spot. I'll be back!

Always great coffee in this swanky little coffee shop in Uppingham. My go to is a flat white and so many cafes (particularly large chains!) can’t get it right. But the flat white here is lovely with a froth that lasts for the whole drink and a deep rich flavour. As you might guess from the name the decor is wooden and earthy. Relaxing. I’ve been a few times now. Service was great today but sometimes no connection or smiles which is my only criticism really. Smiles are free! I’ve not tried the food which all looks very ‘artisan’. I’m sure it’s lovely. Overall a great place to visit.

Classy and relaxing coffee shop in Uppingham. Wonderful building that is stylishly decorated. Much more searing space than might be apparent from the outside. Lovely outdoor garden area. Nice coffee and delicate open sandwiches.

Superb selection of cakes- we purchased the coffee/walnut and lemon/ almond ones. The goats cheese/chutney/walnut toasties on sourdough were very tasty, as was the moist chocolatey banana bread with cinnamon butter. Peaceful atmosphere in the courtyard. It’s always a pleasure to visit Scandi.

The experience begins as you walk in the cafe and smell the coffee.....nice strong coffee and a tasty brownie enjoyed in a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Staff friendly and down to earth. Whilst I was there a disabled woman came in and they did so much to accommodate her.

Such a fabulous coffee shop. The coffee is outstanding and the selection of cakes is excellent, though I managed to resist choosing one! Service was great. We'll be back shortly to have some food, as the menu has so many delicious things on it. Very highly recommended

No pictures, too busy enjoying everything. A lovely Scandi vibe. The coffee is excellent and a good size & the walnut & chocolate flapjack was delicious too. Love the new location, lots of room inside & out.
