Always a great vibe:- very convivial. A great meeting place, whether for a coffee, brunch, dinner, or just a swallow or two! Food is always great, with very interesting specials every week. We are blessed here in Uppingham in particular, and Rutland in general.
Great food, great atmosphere, staff friendly and don't rush you in fact we had a meal with friends, table booked for 7pm and didn't leave till gone past 10pm.
Haven’t been in a couple years but when we went the staff were friendly and helpful, the food was great
Visited for the first time today, just stopped in on the way home with my wife for a bite to eat. Staff were very pleasant and service was very good. They were busy downstairs but they got us a table upstairs without a booking.
Food was excellent and felt it was reasonably priced. Paid £45 for 2 courses and a drink each.
A year ago now, and still we talk about our visit to Don Paddys, a great meal, service and atmosphere. We would really recommend a visit to Don Paddys if you are visiting Uppingham.
Excellent venue. Great staff and fun clientele. Tone Deaf and the doors are locked love this place.
We enjoyed our visit to this popular family friendly pub / restaurant. We had beautifully cooked lamb shoulder and heavenly creme brulee. The ales were well kept which is always a good sign. Facilities were clean and the staff, although busy, very attentive. Highly recommended.
Totally recommend trying the different flavored gins they have for offer
If you want something different to the norm and nice surrondings , great staff and fantastic food , you have to sample a great night

This place has a whole menu for vegetarians and vegans and I recommend the Vegan Don: vegan sausages, sautéed potatoes, baked beans, mushroom, tomato, avocado and choice of white or brown toast
Great portion sizes, seasoned to perfection and delectable delicacies 😋 absolutely delicious! They have a dedicated Vegan menu which offers a fantastic range from breakfast through until dinner.
A lovely place. We were able to sit outside with the nice weather, the outside area is nicely decorated and staff were just as attentive outside as they were inside. Lots of veggie and vegan options, the food arrived quickly and was delicious, great portion sizes everyone at my table left feeling very well fed. Lots of drinks to choose from and the bartender put lots of effort into making me a delicious cocktail with lots of fresh fruit. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Will definitely be returning when I am next in Uppingham.
We live local and love to pop in to Don Paddy’s for lunch. We do also stop by for dinner in the evenings sometimes. A nice walk into town for a lovely drink and bite to eat.
We always find the food lovely. The drinks are good too. They do cocktails of the week. We have a dog which pretty much comes everywhere with us so unless tables outside are free we are stuck.
The fish and chips is great! A firm fav of mine. The staff are always pleasant. A all round good pub!
Service was rather "cold" and chocolate cake so dry, didn't enjoy it. Didn't have any food, so I hope it's not too bad as the place is rather well situated. 😉
Lovely owners & staff. Very welcoming and polite.Food & drink fabulous. Rest rooms immaculate & clean. They have live music on and it's a bar area also.
Just popped infor coffee and cake. Both excellent. Happy atmosphere so no reason to downgrade anywhere. Tim Taylor's Landlord on tap so my sort of place.
Stopped off in Upingham as we were passing through. Don Paddy's looked a nice inviting place to stop for a bite to eat, and we were not disappointed. The place has a nice friendly feel, and it's almost as if you were sat in a cosy restaurant in some faraway place. We were warmly welcomed by the staff and taken very good care of. The food and drinks were of a good standard with reasonable prices. Food arrived promptly, looked great, tasted delicious. Quite interesting to note that the place was well staffed when most businesses seem to run with minimum crew these days. Recommended and we will be making a return next time we are in the area.

Decent Place, was impressed when I ordered a cognac and the manager asked if I wanted the glass heating up, not many other people ask. The art deco is really nice too. Will definitely be back in the future.
Had Saturday breakfast, and it was a great experience. Given the great service and super food I expect it gets very busy at peak times. Other diners were very friendly, the atmosphere was very welcoming and our dogs could socialise as well. 🤣🤣🤣. Will definitely be back for another brunch or to try the afternoon menu.

I had booked a table for 16 on the eve of my daughters wedding. Laura oversaw the booking and the communication from her was amazing….. to arranging the seating, menus and accommodating my countless requests and last minute changes.
The staff on the evening were so attentive, the food was amazing and served so quickly and without delay. Even the sausage dog was pampered and got iced water in her bowl.
Hats off to all at Don Paddy’s… you were fantastic in every way !!!
