Through incredibly hard work what a corker in the heart of Uppermill , Saddleworth! Set in the heart of #uppermill #saddleworth I decided to come here today Weaver & Wilde Coffee House & Eatery! We all love to feel cozy & warm when we have a coffee ! Offers an amazing menu & visitors are leaving great reviews! Very rustic inside with amazing seating & wooden floors & and bare brick walls with the natural fittings ! The windows bring light to the rooms ! Staff are amazing, child friendly as my son does like to ask lots of questions ha ha ! I posted all the pictures I taken today as all of them were my favourite! Uppermill has the magic and thousands do venture here for a day out !

Very nice eatery - lovely artisan bread, a selection of delicious brunch options and very generous portions. The kids lunch boxes went down very well and it was good to see a few vegan options including the fully-loaded all day breakfast. The cakes and other deli type offerings looked really good too. Pleasant surroundings and friendly staff.

I love the sweet treats and drinks at Weaver & Wilde. However, I wasn’t a big fan of the Eggs Royale because of the hollandaise sauce. Hollandaise can be so hit and miss when eating out, and this was a miss for me. My friends agree that the food for lunch is not the best here, but my sister did enjoy her cheese toastie with broccoli and blue cheese soup :)

Delicious food and service in this quaint little cafe. Lots of choices. Freshly prepared. Value for money. Must visit if you are in the area. Also very nice walk along the canal.

Went down to Weaver and Wilde yesterday for brunch and was not disappointed. We were quickly seated and sorted with menus. I ordered a large Eggs Benedict with a side of chorizo and my partner ordered hummus, mushrooms and piperade on toast with an additional egg. The food came very quick and from the first bite, it was an exceptional experience till the last. Coffee is provided by Dark Woods roastery, providing a dark blend with lots of flavour. I had both a latte and an Americano to take out afterwards and the beans suited well to both drinks. The latte was creamy and smooth and the Americano packed a dark roasted punch. Weaver and Wilde are upgrading to a larger venue soon, which will hopefully only draw more people to this amazing place.

weaver_and_wilde An absolute gem of a place located in Uppermill. Weaver & Wilde are passionate about what they do. They are an award-winning independent Coffee House and Grocers. Their quest is to source quality fresh produce from passionate local suppliers, artisans and growers to showcase the flavours of the changing seasons that are available right on our doorstep. We ordered: Yorkshire Rarebit - Grilled creamy Lancashire and Manchego cheese with Dijon mustard and poached egg on lightly toasted artisan bread. French Toast - A whacking piece of Roger's artisan sourdough Pullman soaked in milk and egg, topped with cinnamon and pan-fried in butter. Served with maple syrup and seasonal compote. Mac & Cheese - Macaroni with our lightly spiced house cheese sauce, topped with an extra helping of mozzarella. Cauli Cheese - Romanesque (a really funky cousin of the humble cauli) baked and grilled in our lightly spices house cheese sauce. Minestrone soup @darkwoodscoffee Coffee @teakeepers tea (rose hip hibiscus & Green Tea) @rogersbread to take home. Their menu has a fab range of breakfast / brunch / lunch items as well as an evening menu. The food we got was simply fresh and tasty. We ordered heavy dishes but we honestly didn't feel it. Mac n cheese and cauli Cheese did not have a sickly feeling from all the cheese. The French toast was super soft inside. The soup was delish. Honestly a beautiful place to visit. Service was fab and I love that you can buy condiments that they use as well as the bread. Opening hours are: Mondays - CLOSED - Tuesdays & Wednesdays 07:30 - 17:00 Thursdays & Fridays 07:30 - 21:00 Saturdays 08:00 - 21:00 Sundays 08:00 - 17:00 Daytime menu runs daily until 4pm The eveni menu is available Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 5pm. Walk-ins only for daytime but bookings for evenings are recommended. They don't offer halal but plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. They are also dog friendly. There is a car park across the road and a canal with boat rides so you can easily make a nice day out of it.

Came here for breakfast the other week and it was the best breakfast we've had for a long time! Relaxed atmosphere and staff are attentive. I've seen negative reviews about the owner but I can honestly say we never had a problem whilst here (he was friendly !) and will definitely return.

Nice quaint little place with solid wood tables and appealing decor. Quality coffee and the food menu looked good, however, it did feel quite cramped, literally elbows touching with the couple on the table next to us. For that reason we didn’t feel comfortable eating here so just had a drink and left. However, seeing the food ordered by other guests, I am sure the food would have been great quality had we decided to eat in. The staff were very friendly and it was reasonably priced.

Amazing menu with fresh ingredients and new takes on classic favorites. Had the house beans on toast and the spring salad for a late afternoon lunch, was delish and generously portioned. Hubs had the espresso pancake stack and was also really wonderful. Great pot of tea, and the decor/aesthetic was beautiful.

Fantastic, popular artisan bakery cafe, offering superb coffee & food. The home baked cheese & chilli Focaccia bread was Stunning!! Glad we waited 20 minutes to get a table. Will definitely be back, when next in the area.

A delightful coffee shop with lovely staff and a great selection of delicious food and drinks. It’s my third visit and I’m a big fan. If I lived near here I’d definitely be a regular. A big thank you to Niamh, who was our star waitress today 🤩

Popped in here for a quick coffee and an orange juice with a friend on Sunday 14th August. Decided to sit in rather than take out and was really surprised with the service and quality on offer. The server at that time offered to open a tab for us so we didn't need to keep paying if we topped up (we only stayed for one round unfortunately). It's a nicely decorated coffee shop with a really independent vibe about it and this shows in the friendliness of the team and the owners, who are happy to spend a while with you talking about whatever subject bairns to be the topic of the day. We didn't sample the food on this visit, but there appears to be quite an extensive menu with artisan cakes and pastries on display. There's also alcoholic drinks if you're inclined. We had a long conversation with Kel on our way out, very pleasant gent, very respectable. I'm moving into the area soon so I'll be making another visit here.

Probably the best Eggs Royale I’ve ever had. And every dish on my table of 4 was excellent, leaving some very satiated faces. Will come back and would highly recommend!

They’ve thought of EVERYTHING!! We ordered 4 weavers breakfasts and they did not disappoint, the quality was incredible- local produce and a really reasonable price tag too. I’d say it’s affordable luxury for sure. We’re that impressed that we’ll be back in the morning as we’re that excited to try more of the menu! Huge shout out to the staff also because they couldn’t do enough for us. All in all everything you could want and a lot more as they’ve thought of things, you wouldn’t personally think of as a customer. The linen napkins instead of paper was a beautiful touch also! 10/10 wish we found you sooner, we’ll definitely be regulars! Thank you for today!

The staff were friendly but a little stressed. It's small inside so no private conversations unless you want the whole of Uppermill to know your business. Food amazing. Chai latte was a hug in a mug. Worth a visit

What a lovely little find. We had cake which was absolutely delicious, and a coffee, the food looked and smelt amazing, we wished we had been more hungry. 🤣 The staff we wonderful, very friendly and helpful, but the dog friendliness went above and beyond. Sausages for their snack and lovely warm fluffy towels for them as it was a wet day. Perfect.
