Had a fantastic veggie breakfast and smoothie here, really hit the spot. The flavors were just right and left me wanting more. Plus, the staff were super friendly and quick to serve.
Stayed locally and called in here for breakfast. Lots of choice in the village but this didn’t disappoint. Food was delicious
Great food. Great service. Didn't realize how big it was from inside. I got a veggie breakfast and husband got a normal breaky. Only downfall was plates were a bit too small and husband's breakfast didn't come with mushrooms and tomatoes.

Love this place, great sandwiches, especially toasted. Cater for vegetarians and gluten free options available. Great scones, especially the cheese. Super service. Recommend booking at busy times. Haven't had chance to try the tapas yet in the evening.
What a gem!! This is such a amazing cafe, their sourdough bread is quite special and the atmosphere here is lovely, it's got high ceilings which makes a difference and I could have easily stayed a long time there. Gets busy though, but its worth the visit. Has steps to get in so not easily access
A lovely quiet off the beaten track venue with attentive staff and good wholesome food. Well done you. It makes great use of a building which is pleasantly situated in a quiet back street location.
I really enjoyed my visit to the Rec Room. I went in the evening for the Tapas and I found the food was nicely cooked, great service and a nice atmosphere.
I would definitely go back again sometime.

Lovely coffee to start the day. Didn't have space for cake or food but both looked lovely and really interesting menu. Indoor and outdoor seating. Very spacious.
This was my first visit to what I know is a very popular cafe. Staff very helpful and friendly. One of our servers was on a trial and this was clearly explained to us. We had a 4 year old with us and he was well catered for. The place was very busy but the atmosphere was very calm. Food was deliciou

I have been here with family and friends and each time we have all enjoyed whatever we have ordered. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We also love the setting; the size, decor and different seating options.
