Great place to eat, friendly staff, I was bordering on a five star but what let it down was the starter and presentation altho the dish was huge and so was the main course. We had garlic mushrooms too start with but the garlic sauce ŵe thought wasn't all that and no thought gone into it plus a teacake/bun, tbf I would have had some garlic bread or something but it was what it was and you can't please everybody but all in all very good meal and well worth a trip there

Can't really go wrong with this Pub. Food's always pretty good, reasonably priced, with a good selection of drinks. We've been in here fairly often. It's Child friendly, Dog friendly and in a fairly picturesque location, good for walkers, as well as general pub goers. Staff have always been brilliant, very friendly and try to accommodate your every need as the business goes. We'll definitely keep it as one of our 'go to' places.

Everything about the Church Inn is great. Position, food, beer ,dog friendly. Only half price of central Manchester - what more could you ask on an early sunny day

Such a beautiful pub really well situated such nice views of the surrounding countryside and peakcocks in the garden. We ordered hunters chicken and a grilled chicken skewer which took a while to prepare due to an issue with the kitchen but the staff and the food more than made up for the wait simply amazing. They were sooo apologetic about the wait and treated us like royalty to make up for the mix up so full star rating is totally appropriate!! Will definitely be visiting again soon! A real gem :)

Simply the best nothing compares to home cooked food in a rustic old country pub . Few local fools who look down at non local folk but the owners and bar staff top notch ignore the ten bob millionaires with tales of how much their houses cost ! Food spot on

Lovely pub. Good beer and lovely food. I had a vegan burger and my mate had a lamb shank. For me I would use a smaller bun for the burger as they use one that's way too big, the taste is amazing.
