Brilliant little find. Great location from the beach, perfect for dinner. The food was amazing, the service impeccable! They're so friendly, attentive, and polite. More than just pub grub, the Steak Pie is definitely worth a try.

Just enjoyed a lovely meal at the Upper Largo. We visit every year when on holiday and it never disappoints. The food ( and choices) are top notch. What also makes this place a cut above is the friendly helpful staff. Always welcoming and genuine. Well done guys n gals!

Lovely little place for a nice dinner in the East Neuk of Fife. The lobster, when they have it, is remarkable! Haggis fritters as a starter were also really tasty. A cosy interior and friendly staff make for an all round excellent evening. Highly recommend!

Cannot recommend the Upper Largo Hotel highly enough. I had to email a couple of times pre arrival and received prompt replies. On arrival we were greeted with genuine smiles and a warm welcome. The hotel is genuinely dog friendly including their own section on the room welcome notice. Our wee one is used to hotel rooms and travelling but usually takes a few hours to settle but she was happy to relax in her bed from the off. The food is AMAZING! and consistently so - reinforced by their very busy restaurant and the recommendation to book. Local produce and no ready meals, freshly prepared on demand. It is a 10 minute, mostly traffic free, walk into Lower Largo for the beach or Fife coastal path.

Had dinner here, never stayed in the hotel. Was put in the bar as we had dogs with us, Food was good, place was a bit cramped and spoiled a bit by a noisy woman cackling like a witch. Would not recommend if with dogs, probably better in the restaurant.

Whilst in the area, we used the hotel for brekkie and dinner that same night. The facilities, service, and food were superb. I highly recommend a visit.

We stopped off here on our way back home to Cumbernauld for dinner/missed lunch. The girl who served us was lovely and the meal was delicious (and the large glass of wine) definitely recommend. Nice views and atmosphere. Go enjoy.

Called in today at lunchtime to see if they had availability for lunch. What a great place, staff were all lovely and made a great fuss of our dog Alfie. Ordered the Roast beef, it was delicious. Sticky toffee pudding was lovely. Would highly recommend, everything was perfect. So nice to get a genuine welcome with a dog.

Had an absolutely lovely meal here last week. Food was very tasty and definitely can't complain about portion size. The only issue I had was the fact I had no room to have a dessert. Will definitely be back

Great place to be based due to being close to St Andrews/anstruther/Elie/Crail. Staff very friendly. Had an accessible room which was fine for people with dodgy knees but a bit small for others with more mobility problems.

About 12 of us went for Sunday lunch. Excellent. If I had known how good the Scallops were, I would have had then for starter, main course and dessert. I'm sorry there are no pictures, but I was busy eating and they also sell beer! What a result.

What an absolutely lovely place! We came from Elie after walking almost 5hours from Silverburn park. The kitchens were all closed or non vegetarian. After a quick call and a bus ride the staff managed to cater to us and our two dogs. Could not fault the service, and even the kitchen staff made some sausages for the boys to snack on in between resting their legs. Lovely, friendly bar staff, good company with the kitchen staff. Will be back again!
