best fish and chips I've had in ages and at a very reasonable price....small portion was like a large anywhere else
This is the best prawns and sea bass I ever had. It worths every single penny. I would come here every day. I have never tasted food like it before. Well done.

Great fish and chips restaurant located just outside the train station. Service was friendly, fast and efficient. Salt and Vinegar is self serving which I personally prefer as I get control but I imagine that they would do it for you if you asked.
Card Payment requires minimum £5 which is how much you would probably spend on average but be warned that a large chips is £4.80 - just short of the card minimum.

I chose grilled skate which was cooked absolutely perfectly, such a large piece of fish it was delicious, as were the chips

I really liked this fish bar. Service was great. Food was great and the atmosphere perfect for a family (couples seemed to be having a good time as well). Clean and friendly. The waiter really did charm our group. We shall be back soon.

Fantastic cod and chips. I'm a bit of a fussy eater (hate coming across bones in my fish), I can gladly say that there were no bones and it were cooked to perfection with fantastic seasoning.
I'd definitely eat here again.

Well cooked fish by and chips. The batter was nice and crispy and not greasy. The fish was very fresh and flaked perfectly. Chips were amazing as well and not squashed up. Picked up and drove home and it had kept its taste and freshness. Best chippy I've had in a while.

we usually have a takeaway from here but tried the sit down this time , we had a superb dinning experience last night , the young waiter was absolutely brilliant , very helpful , polite and a true professional . highly recommend the restaurant and the takeaway too .
I just went to grab a bite to eat for my night shift, they thanked me for my service (I'm a carer) and offered to also give some food for my staff members who will be with me tonight (new-years eve and day).
The gave me an absolute tonne of food. I'm on my way now and I'm certain my staff are going to love this.

The fish was amazing and cooked perfectly the chips too, even the curry sauce top notch. I’d previously found they kept their takeaway fish sitting their too long which would make it hard and dry though this has improved massively, cooked fresh and best I’ve had in a long time.
Nice fish , batter was good and chips too , but quite slow service, even though not that busy.
