Great place to eat food very good and a big portion.
We used by our U3A walking group and found it very welcoming and dog friendly not a chain but a independent.
On our vist on Monday it was a eatout to helpout day so the lunch was even bigger than before.

Lovely friendly pub. Definitely one for the locals, however didn't feel any less welcome. Landlady is very friendly and welcoming.

Sunday roast
Great Sunday roast large portions and all served with a smile, however no apple juice available and no credit or debit cards accepted but I will return and recommend to others.
Great home cooked Sunday roast with top quality veg. No one comes close in the area. Booking essential. Top quality drinks, wide variety and nice real ales too... reception... mostly friendly and welcoming. Bearing in mind it being a typical small village local.
