I’ve been coming to this chippy for nearly three years as we have a home nearby. Every single visit without fail the quality has been between good and great. After-all this isn’t a maccy D’s where it’s super processed to be identical globally all the time!

Excellent fish and chips; worth the walk from Hatherwaite. Arrived around midday on a Friday, not long after opening. Fish was freshly cooked and moist while the batter was crispy along the edge, which was good for me.
Good portion of chips, meant for a healthy portion for lunch. My wife struggled
Second visit and what a shame you still serve up in polystyrene. Please think about changing, so many other places serving in compostable packaging and thinking about the environment.

An excellent stop for some great authentic Fish & Chips. They serve burgers too.
Called in on the route for a weekend away. Chips was absolutely delicious. Gravy was spot on and the misses said the fish was great too. Thanks for the great food and service. Staff was well presented and one was lovely.

Right on the road. They have parking spaces and a few picnic tables outside. So can park and eat your food fresh... Decent if you are hungry after a climb and need those carbs... They have hot drinks too...
Love the outside sitting area. Such a unique touch to the chippy. It isny my favourite chippy for taste but saying that there is absolutely nothing wrong with what you're served. And it's damn fresh and crispy :) I love the new? Use of the beeping tags to tell you when your food is done, it worked r
Fantastic chippy, prices were reasonable, staff friendly, the alarm fob for waiting customers is an excellent touch. We had 4 large chips, 3 jumbo sausages, 3 buttered barms, 2 gravy and 2 curry sauce for under £30. I would definitely recommend as the food was fantastic, not a scrap left over.
