Little gem of a place beautifully done inside. Dog friendly. Food spot on not overly priced for what you get. Booked again. Bonus but not done it yet they have an apartment which is to die for. Again dog freindly.
Lovely food. Chicken Balti on the specials board was really tasty. Will definitely be returning to this place for the food. Good quality, well kept real ale too.

Visited twice for evening meals over Easter weekend, found it to be a very welcoming and relaxed pub/restaurant. On our visits, we found the food to be very good (and plentiful) and will look to return if in the area again.
Cracking food, good range of options on the menu, so much so we were spoilt for choice. Prices at the higher end for a 'gastro pub' hence a 4 star rather than a 5 rating.
Just had a lovely meal this evening at the Railway Inn, food was amazing, delicious, definitely home cooked, It’s tucked away out of Lindal but should be on the main thoroughfare for everyone to experience the quality of the food and the service.
Had a fabulous Sunday lunch today, beef melted in your mouth, roast spuds to die for, would definitely recommend & will be back soon. 👍🏼
Nice modern refurbished pub which seems to have turned its focus on being a restaurant over being a bar .
The staff are very welcoming and helpful and the food is outstanding .
We had a sunday roast which was all cooked perfectly and the meat(beef) was to die for .

Fabulous pub, clean and lovely seating areas inside and out. Well worth a visit. We didn’t eat but the food looked fantastic. Staff very friendly and attentive. Definitely would go back.

Fantastic little pub, food fantastic, had the Sunday lunch take away while on lockdown, now we have a choice of going out this is a little hidden gem and a lovely little beer garden, well worth a visit x
