A very nice place to go. We went there twice my family and I. The meals are very good and the fares are reasonnable. It should be a 6 stars view thanks to Olivier, the french server from Bordeaux and the lovely waitress with the fringe :)

My favourite place for lunch. The cajun chicken baguette is amazing i never pick anything else. Nothing is too much trouble for staff the my husband wanted to steak baguette but unsure about stilton it was no problem to swap it for gravy which again is amazing best gravy ive tasted great for dunking the lovely homemade chips
A favourite pub that's looks great with it's new clothes on , and still provides great food at competitive prices with friendly and wonderful staff. Brilliant
Fantastic meal, excellent service on one of the busiest nights. Another fine festive on, thousands of people and still managed to service a excellent meal, cocktails and in an incredible time.. also one gluten free meal. We will definitely be back. �
Had a great evening meal with the family at The farmers arms would highly recommend the food is brilliant along with the service of the staff, as we had the dog with us we ate outside which wasn’t a problem in the summer sunshine. Well done to all of the team for their hard work.
Sat outside with a glass of vino and just enjoyed people watching. The food being served did look good and my daughter had eaten there on a previous visit and said it was good, we will definitely revisit and recommend to others.
Fab decor, fab food and great service. A special mention to Olivier the waiter who was very friendly and attentive even though he was rushed of his feet.
First time we ve been here and had the steak ciabatta and can honestly say its the best sandwich ive ever had . Lovely pub will def be back

Just had a huge family dinner at the farmers for my husbands 30th birthday, there was nearly 30 of us all together, including children. The service was fantastic and orders were out in great time. The staff were lovely despite us making a few last minute changes. Food was great as usual. Couldn't fault it at all! It was so good that my mum is wanting to book her birthday meal here too! Thank you for making it an enjoyable night for everyone!
We had a party of ten and the food was absolutely awesome, great presentation, large portions and delicious. The staff were friendly and efficient. We had a birthday cake provided as well, home made I think, scrummy. We will definitely be back .

Came in too late to eat but the team member who we spoke to was exceptional in his service to us. I didn’t get his name but if I can remember correctly he was Irish or maybe Scottish! Great fella, we’ll revisit at the right time for food because of his service.

We visited the restaurant earlier in the week and noticed tables were fairly full but the bar & restaurant seemed to have a calm/romantic atmosphere so decided to book for Friday for an evening meal... Big mistake!! 😂 Atmosphere was great for a group of rugby lads or a hen do but you couldn't hear yourself think for rowdy tables never mind place an order. The waitress actually brought out more drinks than we'd ordered because she misheard us, we were just too awkward to say anything so drank them and paid extra 😳 my partners food was great she had the brisket. I had the burger and would have personally given it a 3/5. I think this restaurant specializes in pizza though so id go for something like that next time... The interior and decor was lovely though I got the vibe the whole place is riding some massive tiktok popularity waive like a load of boomers have just discovered the place and decided to throw on their leopard print and feather hats. 10/10 for rowdy vibes and good customer service. 7/10 food. 1/10 romantic on a weekend but looked like a solid 8/10 if we'd gone two days before 😂
We had a nice evening meal here, just mains and a desert. I had mussels for my main course and a chocolate brownie for dessert.
The mussels were tasty, in a nice white wine ginger and chilli sauce, however there were white a few closed inedible mussels and a lot of broken shells. When trying to get the sauce with my bread, oftentimes these small shell shards would end up in my bite which was honestly awful and of putting.
On the bread topic, they pile it up on top which makes it hard to butter. I could have done with a separate plate for the bread and chips to prevent them getting soggy in the sauce and also to butter the bread on. That's the only reason I'm not giving it five stars. The venue is beautiful, the service is good and fast, the price is expected for the area and upmarket style restaurant. Overall good, just a few issues with the broken shells everywhere and closed mussels, but there were plenty of open ones too so it didn't affect the overall meal.
We sat outside next to the real fire, there are also electric heaters overhead so we were very cosily warm. We sampled a mixture of food we could all share and pick at, Margareta pizza, garlic bread, onion rings, chilli chips and normal chips. We all enjoyed it. Inside the pub was packed but our food still arrived in a timely manner. Drinks were all good. I particularly enjoyed the flap jack cube that came with my pot of tea.
Got lucky with a walk-in booking and both ordered the Fisherman's Salad; fresh, tasty, full of salmon and prawns at a very competitive price
Exceptional service! I came to enjoy a delightful Sunday Roast and I got just that! Minus the over cooked roast potatoes that were completely overruled by the mouth watering beef! I had a sticky toffee pudding as a dessert which was prevented beautifully and did not disappoint. I will be back again that’s for sure!
Great pub/bar, very trendy and THE place to be in Ulverston.
It is a lovely place but it is not a place to have a quiet drink, open fire and muddy boots but it doesn't pretend to be.
It has great food and beers, the staff are great and very helpful.
The food and service was amazing, the staff was extremely welcoming. The beef brisket was delicious and so tender + tasty, their fish and chips was one of the best I’ve ever had. Their portions are HUGE make sure you are hungry :) very highly recommended
Exceptional food. The Guiness and the coffee was superb too. Highly recommend. You might want to book, it was packed on a Tuesday lunchtime, we got the last table luckily

Absolutely amazing food and drinks, it's our new favourite place to go out for a meal. The staff were polite, friendly and chatty. Atmosphere was lovely and the decor was beautiful.
The service was exceptional and the quality of the food and drink was outstanding. The whole plaice fish was exquisite, demonstrating the kitchen staff know how to cook fish. The fish and chips and burger was succulent and fresh. The pizza was delicious with a excellent dough base. Highly recommend the establishment.
Recently returned from a long weekend in the lakes with the family and after a wee bit of research we booked in for breakfast on the Saturday.
What a great find this pub was!!!!!!
Now, I eat out a lot through work & can honestly say this pub is the best food I’ve ever tasted. So much so, we booked a table for the Monday prior to our departure back south.
