I can't praise this place enough! We had never heard of this little gem until we found a menu on our caravan site and I was amazed at the choice of vegetarian options, far better than ANYWHERE I have ever been! Vegetarians get really overlooked and are just given the same basic bog standard rubbish but here at Manor House the options were fabulous, I had beer battered halloumi with hand cut chips and REAL mushy peas and it was to die for. The best thing about this place is the staff, they can't do enough for you and are so friendly, lovely and genuine. When I contacted them on facebook they replied immediately which is a good start, I booked a table and explained that we were bringing my Mum who has dementia and doesn't like crowds of people and is very nervous and hasn't eaten out for over 12 months! They put us on a table that was out of the way of other diners. I changed the time of the booking once and it wasn't an issue, everything was dealt with in a ultra professional manner and they were very understanding and compassionate towards my Mum's needs. Every bit of food was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and Mum had a lovely evening. The pub itself is gorgeous and very tastefully decorated, the pub is family owned and run and you can tell, they are all very friendly and go the extra mile for you, nothing is too much trouble. The place is a little out of the way but well worth the effort, in my opinion it really is a hidden gem and we can't wait to return. Thank you all so much. xx

The drive to get to this restaurant is absolutely incredible! You get to enjoy the countryside as you drive and this restaurant is tucked up on a country road. They do have a decent bit of parking behind the building, we parked on the side of the street as we didn’t originally see the parking until we got out of the car. The inside is extremely cozy and the service was excellent!! We both ordered Steak &Guinness pie and were impressed with the portion size, presentation, and taste! We would easily come back again! We didn’t feel rushed as we ate and we were able to enjoy our meal comfortably. I can’t wait to come back!!!

Great service and food. Everything we’ve had here was good but I really enjoyed my steak. They have kid’s menu and the selection is good. There is a wonderful atmosphere and huge parking so you don’t have to worry about it.

My friend booked a late lunch/early dinner here on Sunday to celebrate his wife's 50th birthday as it was a short walk from our accommodation. We were not disappointed. We had pre ordered our food for our group of 10, and within 10 to 15 minutes of us arriving we had got our drinks and our starters. Our main meals were fabulous Sunday roasts, and the portions were absolutely huge - huge portion of meat (chicken, beef or pork) 2 types of tatties (mashed and roast) broccoli, cauliflower cheese, red cabbage, a massive Yorkshire pudding and lashings of gravy. Everyone absolutely loved their meals! The staff were warm, friendly and attentive. Would absolutely recommend 👌🏻

Amazing little spot off the beaten path. We [4 plus 3 dogs] stopped by for a late lunch and we were glas we did. Great selection of drinks and a well refined menu that did not disappoint on any of the three courses. Highly recommend the tiramisu, a great twist on the classic! Dog friendly which is massive bonus. Could recommend enough.

I booked a table for my partner and I as a post birthday treat. I was aware the venue had recently underwent renovation and thankfully they weren’t delayed as it would have been a shame to miss out on such a tasty meal. We had a table inside, the decor is very pleasing and rustic and is especially light and airy by the window. I ordered the chicken, dauphinois potatoes and peas (main) and my partner went for the steak burger (main). I basically inhaled mine it was so flavoursome and juicy. My partner found his burger to be very rich and succulent. We were both very impressed with the food. Definitely recommend eating there.

Oh, what a lovely place! There are many restaurants/pubs and their staff that could take a leaf or two from this establishment's book! Ample parking Nicely presented terrace and building with a warm friendly welcome for pooches and their humans alike. Good selection of ales to be tried. Menu to make your mouth water and specials too, vegetarians and vegans well catered for. OPEN SEVEN DAYS A WEEK! We only had desserts this visit but plan to bring our parents for a celebratory meal in October, can't wait to try the full menu. Thank you for the warm welcome on a rainy day.

Had a fabulous family meal. The service was attentive and timely and they have a varied menu, we were a party of 14 (including children) and there was some to suit everyone. The food was tasty, well cooked and nicely presented, all in excellent. The pub is relatively small, which gives a nice cosy atmosphere, but I would recommend booking ahead of time for larger parties to make sure you secure a table.
