Went here today with Lorna Simmons. Lovely pub/restaurant set in a lovely village. Thought the friendly welcome was because Lorna won their competition but no it was for every customer, which I found very refreshing. The food on offer for lunch was reasonably priced but much nicer than I had anticipated which makes the food prices better value, best cheesy garlic bread ever! A very enjoyable lunch had by both of us and now we know this place exists will be making a point of returning. Thanks for your hospitality

Came to your pub tonight for my special birthday. As a table of 11 plus 3 babies we were recommended to pre-order our food, which we did, to avoid waiting too long. Every meal that came out was correct, piping hot and lovely food. The portion sizes are pretty big but that’s definitely not something we’d complain about! The staff were so welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Our waitress was fantastic and made such a fuss of the children. Thank you for making our night hassle free and thoroughly enjoyable

Popped in last night for a quick bite to eat - hadn’t booked. Very good service, staff very pleasant and helpful. Food excellent (liver & onions and crusted fish). Good portion sizes, good quality and value for money.

Had a fabulous 6 meals at our local since it opened. 16 years lived in the village and loving having a nice pub with fantastic pub grub and great prices. Nice rose wine. Ticks all my boxes. Well done all concerned 😊👍

Enjoyed an evening recently at the Winged Spur, friendly staff serving excellent food at reasonable prices. Hoping that mine hosts will be in for the long haul with the residents of Ullenhall supporting this lovely pub and eatery

The atmosphere of the pub can be slightly improved as the decor was dated and too much resemblance of an old dining hall. (Based on my impression.) There were two parts: the restaurant and the pub. It was livelier in the pub area and you can order food from both areas. The food was good and tasty. I ordered the classic gammon, fried eggs, chips, and pineapple rings (£16). The portion was big enough. The cheese burger was tasty. It came with fries (£14.50). The service was quick and attentive. I found them to be friendly and helpful. Overall, if you’re in the area, check them out.

Winged Spur in Ullenhall is a hidden gem worth discovering. Delicious food, and friendly staff. The menu offers a variety of tasty dishes to suit different tastes, and the presentation is impeccable. It has a lovely atmosphere and the quirky interior adds a touch of class! All the food was fresh, hot and tasty - will definitely be coming back

Booked a table for a Sunday lunch, didn’t go to intentionally have a roast dinner, but decided to and glad we did, they were fantastic! Can recommend the chicken and veggie roast dinners and they have a good selection of choices for non roasts, friends had the salmon main, both said it was great. No starters but had deserts, Brownie, Lemmon posset and DIY Cheesecake, all good. Our server Tia was great, super friendly, helpful and professional, nothing was too much trouble. 100% recommend and will be returning, thank you.

FANTASTIC RESTAURANT AND PUB!! We went for dinner on Saturday evening to celebrate our anniversary. We wanted somewhere you could eat and then move into the bar area.(I chose very well) The Winged Spur have done a fantastic job with the refurbishment, in and out!!! Food was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection! Chloe was simply amazing, welcoming and chatty she even presented a happy anniversary plate to us, a lovely touch. They had live music on and Jasper was very good. Great atmosphere and a great team all round. We will be visiting you a lot more often. Thanks again Chloe x

First visit following refurbishment & new owners. Started with king prawns in garlic/chilli sauce, & stuffed mushrooms both with chunk of bread, very good. Followed by steak/frites (good), & duck with saute potatoes & veg. Veg was cabbage/kale/leeks but hubby not keen so was offered peas, which came in abundance! Lovely decor & served by very pleasant young man called Dan. We hope to return.

Lovely little pub stop during a walk around Henley in Arden. We only stopped for drinks on a Sunday lunchtime as it was half way on our loop. The food looked lovely though

Four of us visited on 10th September for Sunday lunch, and the service and food were excellent, if a little pricey...It's been a few years since our last visit and we were very supprised at how quiet the resturant was, it did make for easy conversation but the atmosphere felt a little flat. Would definately return and recomend.

Friendly pub with great staff and glorious food. Had a pizza so good the teenage mutant ninja turtles would of travelled from New York to try it. If they were real. 🤷

Recently refurbished. Had early light dinner. The red pepper and tomato soup and skewered chicken were delicious. The sticky toffee pudding was one of the best. Great food. Reasonable prices.

Went to the Winged Spur yesterday for my daughters 15th birthday. Beautiful environment, cozy, colourful and warm, with amazing staff and it's dog friendly !! Beautiful menu - I had the butternut squash wellington. Totally delicious. The wonderful Maitre D, is fabulous and has a wonderful way with all her guests. Definetly recommending to all our friends.

Quaint little country/village pub in Ullenhall. Food very tasty, staff welcoming & decor nice. Bonus that this place is also dog friendly (manager has 2 dogs himself), very small car park though but very quiet country lane if car park full. Condensed menu due to Covid but still plenty of choices, many home made, desserts to die for!Tables socially distanced, track & trace at entrance with hand gel & all staff wearing masks, so felt very safe.

We are delighted that the pub has opened again. We had a Mother’s Day roast. Staff were so friendly, the beef was lovely and so was the jus. ( gravy) Chloe, the manager, was very helpful. We can’t wait to have a family meal there again soon. Thank you

June 2023. It's been open under new ownership for a few months now. The interior has been transformed. Very stylish, you can get a view into the kitchen to see your meals being prepared. The food and service were both excellent. Good choice of drinks including beers from the local Purity brewer. A great dining experience.

Visited on 24th May for lunch. Table booked prior to visit but not happy with area given us. Explained to waitress and she moved us to better Table, no problem. Ordered drinks, beer arrived looking very cloudy, tried it and tasted vile. Took back to bar, it was changed no problem, much better ale. We both ordered gammon, with egg and pineapple( fresh). A large meal arrived which we both devoured, my only complaint was peas were like bullets. Excellent food, service and eventually the beer..!! We will return.

Decided to visit Ullenhall as my mum was a land army girl in the area. Stopped for lunch and what a find. Next time will check the portion size before we order dessert.
