Exactly what we wanted! A small cozy coffee shop in the wonderful Ullapool. The service was helpful and friendly and the bacon and egg rolls were fresh and tasty. Really good value for money too. We loved the pick and mix feel of the interior, gives a homely feel to this little hole in the wall. They also have gluten free options, and the fact that the chef herself gave us our meals always makes us feel welcome.
The only thing I can add is that the coffee was far too hot. My wife burnt her tongue even after it rested for 10min. Dial that down a little and all will be good.
Superb coffee stop and a brilliantly timed break for anybody taking part in the North Coast 500.
The staff were welcoming and the service was speedy, with some delicious food and top quality coffee. Definitely don’t miss this coffee shop if you’re passing through Ullapool.
Tasty Scottish Breakfast. Great cakes and coffee. The service is really nice.
It's small inside. The décor is grand and in keeping with the name of the place.
We had an absolutely delicious lunch here - lentil soup and a cheese/tomato toasties, followed by oat lattes with homemade cheesecake. We were made very welcome, together with our wee pup.
Visited the Bothy for breakfast. Full inside but we were greeted by friendly, helpful staff who showed us the lovely outdoor seating area. Our order ranged from simple bacon butty to full breakfast. Service was quick and we agreed it was our best breakfast on the NC500!
Absolutely banging food. Came here on the last stretch of our North Coast 500 trip. Really cosy place, exceptional quality food and great service from staff.
The place doesn’t have a lot of indoor seating but the weather was decent and there is a good amount of outdoor seating.
For the quality of food it is very economical, worth more than what we paid.
Had a fantastic full Scottish breakfast which was excellent value, staff very friendly and place was clean with a good atmosphere.
Very friendly and lovely spot for lunch on a nice summery day. Delicious bacon rolls and freshly made sandwich.
This is the perfect place for a delicious bowl of soup and slice of fresh brown bread. I have had their tomato, and their brocoli and stilton, both enjoyable. Their coronation chicken bagel and salad was also good. Coffees and freshly baked cake to finish. Only seats a few inside so depending on the weather you may prefer to get a take away. Outside seating in fine weather is an option. Lovely decor and friendly service.
Delicious soup, lovely bit of outdoor space with a view of the water, but inside also looked cosy and welcoming. Friendly staff, look forward to returning and trying the coffee and pastries.
