The Frigate - Ullapool - Photo album

Stopped by for some takeaway teas and coffees on the way through Ullapool. Service was good and relatively quick. Didn't sit in but it seemed nice enough. The hot drinks were average, nothing great but not bad either. With not many other options probably one of the better ones there. Popped in to
Serving up simple, fresh food with a view of the water. Friendly, attentive staff were right on top of the order. Everything we had was tasty and made to order. Highly recommended if you are in the area.
A pleasant restaurant with well prepared nicely presented meals. I had a ham hock terrine starter with salad and toasted bread. The terrine was lovely with plenty of texture and flavour I'd definitely recommend this one, the roasted tomatoes were an odd touch, and a little soft for my taste but asid
Very nice płace to stop and have delicious lunch. All fresh and served with smile. Very friendly staff and good price We had not been waiting for meal at all. Lovely view on harbour.
What a lovely place! Port views while you have a glass of Scottish cider Thistly Cross and slice of "only in Scotland" pizza - black pudding, plum and apple chutney and whisky sauce - yum! Quirky place with laid back atmosphere, friendly staff and Ullapool experience you won't get anywhere else!
I settled on a fish supper and the haddock chips and mushy peas were delicious with a particularly nice batter mix. For desert I chose sticky toffee pudding and was left waiting for what felt like several days. It was delicious when it arrived though. Friendly but slightly disorganised staff.
Great place to stop off for a quick bite to eat. Situated near to the ferry terminal with views to the sea. Can be busy when a ferry to Stornaway is due however the service couldn't be faulted. We has breakfast which really good with fresh produce. I believe well behaved dogs are also welcome.
Fantastic place. Visited twice which is unheard of for us, unless really worth it. Great continental self serve breakfast, and the most delicious cakes available. Gluten free choice too. Friendly and cosy. Highly recommend.
Beautiful location, staff very friendly. I was disappointed that they didn't cater for those unable to take full day milk. It was that our non dairy milk which I have never enjoyed. Food looked good, and I would come back to try the food. Busy place.
Big nice tasty pizza, great fresh vegan (and not only) cakes "baked everyday by Nancy" 🙂 and not to forget, great coffee, what a nice surprise in this corner of Highlands 🙂 Thank you Frigate!
