Really nice little cafe. Some lovely seating inside with large armchairs and high backed cozy seats. A good selection of cakes on the counter, I had the lemon and elderflower, the elderflower was subtle so a nice piece of cake. Good choice of teas and coffees. We sat outside in a gravelled courtyard, a total sun trap as it’s south facing. Views only of the car park but fields in the distance and the courtyard has been decorated nicely.
Visited today for afternoon tea and was really impressed with the service and quality of our afternoon tea.
All our food was freshly prepared and really tasty.
The sandwich section was really good, and the cake selection was just amazing.
We also had a mini quiche, which was one of the best we have ever tasted.
It's a really nice hidden gem of a tearoom and definitely worth a visit.
This is a really lovely coffee shop Great cake and great coffee. It is advisable to book if you want to guarantee a table. It's quite small and very popular.
This is a small coffee shop with nice people and nice cakes. We didn't try their coffee so I can't tell how good or bad it is but their selection of tea was lovely!
Try the scones. Soft and tasty when loaded with the ample potions of jam and cream.

We called for a coffee whilst travelling past and are delighted that we did.
We ordered coffee and cake, but we will be back to enjoy more from the menu.

Lovely spot that you’d easily drive past, and maybe that’s to its advantage. It’s not too busy, but very pleasant views as well as very nice service.
We just got coffee here (but the cakes looked delicious). Would definitely come back. The ladies that served us was lovely and coffee so nice we finished one and got another. Lovely, peaceful surroundings.

Visited for the first time today and enjoyed a lovely afternoon, sat on the sunny terrace under the parasols. Really nice coffee and the falafel, feta and olive ‘salad of the day’, was delicious. I couldn’t resist a slice of the peach, almond and pistachio frangipani - very moist and light and complimented by a refreshing pot of Earl Grey tea.
Staff were very friendly and didn’t mind one bit that we lingered until 5pm to enjoy the sunshine and the setting. There is nothing better than the company of good friends and homemade cakes to refresh the soul and The Hayloft is the perfect place to meet, away from the hustle and bustle of Stamford and with free car parking. Looking forward to visiting again, soon.

As part of my ‘research’ for future guests at my holiday rental ‘The Lakeside Retreat at Tallington’, I visited (twice 😀) for lunch and it’s a really lovely place. Only 10 minutes away, I think it will be a regular!
Had a coffee and sat outside. I didn't have any cake, but there were plenty on offer. It was reasonably busy mid-morning, and that is a good sign that it is well liked.
I absolutely love this place. Been 3 or 4 times now and the oatly flat whites are THE best. I only drink oat milk and struggle to find a decent coffee in this area but the coffee I had this morning was perfect - made my morning. Beautifully designed as you might expect being attached to an interior design studio but I almost always wonder through and find something I then HAVE to buy to complete my life :) ! Staff are super efficient and clearly know what they’re doing. Definitely a must visit...
