Stayed overnight and was given Room 2, access was outside on the right of the main door. The room was very nice, and we had a very comfortable night. We are a meal in the evening, that too was very good. The staff were friendly and efficient. We will definitely return.

We arrived a bit early so we bought a cool drink. The member of staff took our registration number as we were staying the night. The manager was nice and booked us in.
The room was very nice and clean. It had tea and coffee making facilities, Including some biscuits. The room has a nice big comfy bed. There was a heater in the room. There was a full sized mirror on one of the walls.
The room has lots of plugs with usb ports.
There is a unit for hanging coats etc.
There was a chair for you to use at the table.
There is a TV which has the usual Freeview channels.
In the bathroom there was a shower and a heated towel holder. There was nice, fluffy towels. There is a mirror which has a light and a shaver socket.
There is liquid hand soap in the shower and at the wash basin.
We booked in advance for the evening meal. We got 20% off the bill as we booked direct with the premises.
The meal was very tasty and didn't take long to arrive. The staff were very nice and helpful.
There was a disabled toilet available in the pub.
Well worth a visit.
We enjoyed our visit here. The food was lovely. Staff are very helpful. The restaurant was clean and tables were cleared in good time of people leaving. Wide range on the menu to cater to everyone's meal choices. I am looking forward to visiting again soon. Would definitely recommend a visit when you're in the area. It is very easy to get to from junction 27 on the M5. Please note that you are now to pay to park and then the cost of parking is taken off your bill.
We have just been for a meal with all my work colleagues as one of them had a birthday today. The staff were so helpful and lovely it made it such a great experience. We also took two extra children with us at the last minute. The staff made them so welcome and we were all made to feel very valued. Nothing was too much trouble, I would recommend it to any one. The young lady and the Manager were fantastic, excellent service.
Probably best you can get comparing to the price. Room more than big enough for 2, food in bar more than marvelous. Staff absolutely lovely! For personal reference: I tried many fish and chips but that one I tried here for dinner - uncomparable to any others! Is a place where I would back again if I be in South again ❤️

Excellent traditional pub in great location, serving great value quality meals. The pub is spacious and offers a good variety of table settings, the staff are welcoming & friendly with fast service and we really enjoyed our meal here. The tables were cleared efficiently and everywhere was clean, the car park is large and would definitely recommend for either lunch or evening meals.

We stayed at the Waterloo Inn for 2 nights while visiting family in the area.
The Inn is part of the pub, so you check inside the pub. Service was very friendly although their computer system is quite slow so it can take several minutes to check in. There is plenty of parking outside.
Room: rooms are a good size, simple but functional. They have good tea/coffee making setup, with a comfortable bed. There are plenty of outlets and a small desk to work at. Generally it’s very quiet however there can sometimes be noise from the guest leaving the pub.
The building is 2 storey wood construction with some rooms upstairs reached from inside the pub and several rooms on the main floor with outside access only. The upstairs room do get some road noise, but it’s not bad. A bit of issue is the wooden floors creak quite a bit which can be distraction. This isn’t a problem in the main floor rooms, so they might be a better option, especially for easier access.
Breakfast: Cooked breakfast for a reasonable charge is available in the morning in the pub. While the selection is somewhat limited the food quality is good as was the service. The full cooked breakfast is the best option as the omelette was rather thin.
They have free wifi which is fast although I did have an issue reaching some websites so there may be filtering on it. Was okay when connecting with VPN.
Overall a good choice for a couple nights rest when visiting this area, just be sure to ask for a downstairs room if possible.

I went for 3 stars for the food only because mine was tasteless, breaded halloumi baguette, though the person I was with had the smothered BBQ chicken which they enjoyed, I didn't say anything because in my opinion there was nothing more they could have done to make it taste any better.
Lovely pub and location, still please give it a go, especially if you are off to the garden centre next door?
I have to say I was very impressed and surprised. The service was exceptional. All staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was well priced and extremely nice. As a vegetarian I have struggled with veggie options, typically they tend to be a combined veggie/vegan option. However, the ultimate veggie burger lived up to its name. Very tasty and did not disappoint. The only thing that will disappoint is if this comes off the menu ;). Look forward to returning.
Fantastic weekend at Forest Glade. Lovely pitch. Made friends with two lovely staff….Brenda and Mark. They were just a few plots from where we were pitched on Plot 23. Andy was brilliant too. He came to the rescue with the Electrical plug in as I could not get the adapter in because of the growing branches and the electrical point was slightly off centre.
Weather was kind to us too. Never got the Thunder storm
Reception staff were very friendly and helpful too. I even met the lovely black cat

Breakfast good, tea is served in a cup with tea bag. Would've been nice to have a pot of tea.
Good location as only short drive to Exmouth.
Fantastic food! Great value for money and large portion sizes. Staff are friendly and kind, and food arrived quickly. Great menu choices and a nice selection of drinks. The place feels welcoming and festive. A great visit! Highly recommend!
