Have been unsure to try here lately based on mixed reviews - but can only say we had a good experience. It has been well renovated & was quite busy on the Friday we booked for dinner with our 2 young girls. Our daughters loved their mocktails & we received friendly service - which was a good start.
Lunchtime visit. Food and service excellent. Very friendly, clean and well laid out. Bar and restaurant areas both lovely. Will definitely be returning. 😁

Booked for Sunday lunch, we had the roast beef, it was absolutely delicious and there was plenty on the plate. We had a teenager in our group who opted for the burger and seasoned fries, again an ample portion and was absolutely delicious. Puddings were amazing also, I highly recommend the lemon me
We came last week and has a lovely meal with family. A called Lisa looked after us she was amazing from start to finish. Very efficient and nothing was too much bother she should be a very valued member of the team. Food was great πŸ‘ we will definitely be returning soon.

Came for a meal on 25th August at 7pm. Top class decor inside and lovely foutain outside and seating area. We had to eat vegetarian food, so i can only comment on that. My wife's pakora dish was very dry, however apart from that the meal was OK. They forgot to bring our mains out for around 50 minut
Love this pub now amazing refit looks like a Michelin starred restaurant. Had a lunch time meal fish burger and katsu burger and it was spot on plus only Β£10 per burger . Forgot to take picture before but here's one I finished ..... Plus nice little cider
Very impressed by the food and the service was wonderful, best service I've had in years , we were made very welcome , Sam and Lisa couldn't have been better hosts.
Why can’t I add 7 or 8 stars?! Honestly just a fabulous experience from the moment we arrived. Genuinely warm, lovely, friendly, and completely down to earth staff who really added a great deal to the experience. We visited for a birthday meal for the in-laws and as soon as they realised it was a bi
Went for a Sunday lunch here with some family. Had meat and vegetarian options for Sunday lunch which was good. Portions were a good size, had a nice amount of veg with them. Puddings were tasty too, think we had cheesecake and the chocolate orange torte. Only issue is that the service was a bit slo
Food was excellent. Greeted straight away by the lovely Lisa, all staff were efficient and friendly. Food was superb and there was a lovely atmosphere. Could not fault anything about our visit and will not wait as long before we visit again. Squid was exceptional as was the lamb kofta. Unfortunately
Popped in for lunch on 1st August by chance after a lovely walk. Was greeted by a lovely smile and bubbly young lady called Gee she was the duty manager on that day. Service was excellent and the food was very good. Will definitely be back soon to enjoy the evening meals.
