Always good service, My Grandchildren love having lunch. Ask them where shall we go for lunch 'The Pub' is the reply. We are always well looked after by the Staff
We had an excellent Sunday lunch we had the Beef which is locally sourced. The vegetables were cooked precise nice colour and with the right crispiness. Their was plenty of meat per portion. The picture shows how the meal is presented but you can add cauliflower cheese,mash,extra roast and Yorkshire for an extra price. You will need to book so your not disappointed. The location is bottom end of then opposite the picture house
We have never had such huge, tender gammon steaks. The onion rings are also huge and amazing. The whole meal was excellent and well worth the money. Very pleasant hosts. Thank you we'll definitely be back.
Having driven around several other places in the area this one was very welcoming and had no trouble fitting us in. The food, a T-bone steak with chips and a lasagne, was all home made and delicious. The atmosphere was great with unoffensive music in the background and the member of staff who dealt with us from start to finish was very friendly and delightful. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area.
The food was cooked to perfection, everyone in my group was left more than satisfied with their meals, I would personally recommend going for the horseshoe gammon. The service was great, we did visit here on the Sunday but unfortunately it was only pizzas on the menu. Definitely one to revisit and try some more dishes.
A great place for Sunday lunch. Dropped in for an unplanned lunch, was seated straight away at the start of lunch service, food arrived quickly and hot, all fresh produce and vegetables, tasted delicious and was reasonably priced! Would highly recommend ⭐️

A reasonably lively bar, a little run down/yesterday feeling about the place but service was good and the beer ok.

Good food, friendly staff and fast service. Even though we didn’t have a booking, we were seated conveniently. Although booking a table would be advisable, due to COVID, limited seatings available.
Had a good Sunday lunch here in August. Food arrived quickly and was of great quality, as well as being reasonably priced.
