Good atmosphere, good local people full of advice etc about the local area. The pub itself is very welcoming with a pool table & darts. Recommended to all 10/10
No food served so only had crisps. Small but busy little pub with a great atmosphere. It became our local on our brief visit to the area.
Traditional pub, decent pint of Purple Moose beer, located right in the heart of Tywyn town so easy to find.

As a visitor to the town, I popped in with my children for a quick drink. I was hoping to get something to eat but, sadly, food is not served here. The beer was nice (Purple Moose) and the lady at the bar was friendly and nice. My only slightly negative observation was that there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke, presumably blowing in from wherever the smoking area is.
On a more positive note, there was a TV which was showing Olympic highlights.
I'm sure I'll visit again.
To start with this place serves the best Sunday lunch in the area which includes Aberdovy. Great pint of Snowdonia and always spotless. Staff are warm and friendly with a great traditional atmosphere.
Great service, excellent food, the Sunday roasts was amazing. Just enough food on my plate and the dessert was lovely also
