Gluten-free (coeliac safe!) breakfast was delicious and good value for money. Staff were helpful and didn't mind me asking questions about the risk of gluten contamination etc. Was lovely to eat breakfast and be able to see/smell the trains getting ready to depart. Would highly recommend!! Thanks guys! *Update* I've since been back a year later and it was just as good here, I've added a photo of the ''Broad gauge breakfast" that I had. Beautiful again. Cheers guys

For train enthusiasts this is a lovely place, friendly people and steam train atmosphere. Food was given quite quickly. Good food overall

We had two fantastic veggie breakfasts before taking our train ride. The cafe is spotlessly clean, the welcome was friendly and the food was great. The Glamorgan sausages were delicious. We'd definitely go again just for the breakfast without a train ride.

This is a very popular place especially on a wet Sunday. The Sunday lunch was good once we found a table. Like most people we were taking the trip on the train and decided to have lunch while we were there. Nice selection of food which came to the table very quickly.

Basic but lovely food. Nothing fussy. Always busy particularly on a Sunday lunchtime when roast dinners are served. Very good value for money and friendly staff.

Popped in for something to eat whilst looking for somewhere that was dog friendly. All staff were very friendly and the breakfast we had was lovely! The little bag of dog treats was a nice touch too

Lovely place to eat and the service is great, but food takes time to arrive so make sure you give plenty of time before your train departs

Always greeted with a smile. Prices are very fair for the area. Plenty of seating inside and out. Good choice of food and drinks.
