Lovely place for a treat with my daughter. We had the chilli and the king prawn scampi. Both were freshly cooked and tasty. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and the view was wonderful. I would definitely visit again.

Lovely relaxing cafe/restaurant with amazing views of beach and sea. Went for breakfast, which was outstanding. The bacon was cooked to perfection as I like my bacon crispy. This is one of the best places to come for breakfast. Staff are so friendly, helpful, and nothing is a problem
I had the prawn linguine. It was very tasty. Really nice place for a meal. Can't beat overlooking longsands. Sitting by the window is lovely. Can definitely recommend. It seems child friendly too. There was a separate kids menu. There is both outdoor and indoor seating.
I've been to the View on several occasions. Every time the food has been lovely. The sausage sandwich in a brioche bun was delicious. My friend had the avacardo with poached egg, the were perfect. Long wait for drinks, some food missing from the order. Unique setting with sea view. Staff were nice but service was mmmmm. Haphazard. Don't get me wrong I would go back, but perhaps when it is quieter. Have a good day folks.
Great location by the beach. Great tables outside with a view of the beach. Good selection of food especially fish of the day. We both had tempura haddock and it was probably the best fish we've had. Good choice of beers. Friendly helpful staff. We will definitely return.

Visited the takeaway section of the View today. Really busy inside and clearly busy outside as the chefs and kitchen staff were rushing around.
Had a bacon stottie and a scone. Bacon stottie was good value for menu and the scone was tasty and warm. Coffee not up to much but to be expected.
