My granddaughter and me decided to venture out to Tynemouth Market... We then thought we would take a little stroll... We didn't get far as we passed by this lovely pub and couldn't help but notice what the customers were eating in the outside sitting area.. 😋... A table became available so we quickly grabbed it... We took advantage of the Tappas deal any 4 plates and 2 drinks for £24.95(times for these deals are stated on menu).. They were delicious... We got meatballs, meat feast paella, fish balls, and smoked cheese croquettes (those croquettes were absolutely delicious 😋)... Meal aside I have to commend the staff.... They were absolutely customer service all the way, they were very accommodating and made my granddaughter and me feel very comfortable, nothing was a bother!... Thank you for a lovely few hours... I will be back 😊

Allard's Lounge in Tynemouth was lovely. Had elevenses yesterday. The breakfast stottie was very tasty and you can choose the 3 items that you want. The coffee is always good here too. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Called in for a quick lunch today. Attentive and welcoming service, great food & drinks and reasonably priced also. Can't wait to try it on an evening as the cocktails sounded wonderful

I should have taken photos 🙈 ...but after a flood at our usual breakfast spot ...we decided to try Allard's ... Breakfast was cooked to perfection 🤤 ..every element was quality & it was clearly given the attention it deserves & was executed in a timely manner with friendly staff & nice surroundings I must say the previous reviews did not disappoint! Re-visit with photos ... amazing lamb flatbread and meatball sandwich 👍 never disappoints!

First time going and it was amazing. The place has a lovely atmosphere and really cozy feel. The food absolutely delicious, I ordered the tapas so it does come in small portions but very rich so I did feel ordering just two was enough for me :) the tapas I went for was the prawn bao buns and the seafood paella. I wouldn't say the paella is Spanish style but I thoroughly enjoyed. The drinks were lovely as well and I would say reasonable priced. There's also recommended pairing of wine with the food which was lush to try. Overall experience was lovely, the guys serving absolutely fantastic and very attentive. Will come back again. It was an expensive night but a lovely experience to have.

Breakfast was tasty. Had eggs Benedict, nicely cooked, and my other half had a breakfast stottie. All good except the service as the young lady who waited for us wasn't the friendliest, not the kindest, could have just been a bad morning for her.

Sat in the bar area, which allows dogs inside, making it suitable to dine for our lunch with our dog! Service was great, helping us with the menu since it was our first time eating here. A lady also gave our dog a water bowl & treats, which makes a nice change. Food was lovely! Although I'd state that the platter is a sharer for 2/3 persons, rather than it being on the mains & tapas is also quite large! As tapas is usually meant to be small, non the less, it was good food!

Been here a few times, always had tapas. Can’t fault it, lots of options and each dish I’ve had has been full of flavour. Lots of other options on the menu also if tapas isn’t your thing. It’s unfortunate that I have to mark it down for service. I have no issues with the staff working there but there simply is not enough staff at peak, busy times. Drinks took ridiculously long to come (they came just before our food arrived) and this was after asking a couple of times about them. We were told that ‘all the bar staff were new and being trained up’ and so it was taking longer than usual. I find this hard to believe that all bar staff were being trained on a busy Saturday evening when the restaurant was packed. The drinks order was also very straight forward and only for 4 people (a coke, soda water and cordial, and bottle of rosé). This unfortunately then made it very noticeable how understaffed the floor was as we were constantly trying to get staff attention who were racing back and forth trying to serve tables. Staff seemed a bit stressed and flustered which then impacts the atmosphere overall. I don’t believe it is the staffs fault as they were trying their best but whoever decides how many people are working at peak times. I’ve noticed other reviews say similar things so hopefully this is something that Allards can correct as otherwise this is a lovely place to eat out!

Busy breakfast service bacon sandwich a bit pricey but well worth it filled a gap on a cold autumnal morning. A great bap with 3 rashers.

I had the best salted caramel martini ever! We had tapas veggie style for 2. It was delicious. Plenty of it. We loved the decor. It's just stylish, drinks and food were very good. Definitely visit again.

I've eaten at Allard and Allards on the quay many times, but the review isn't for their food or drinks, but their amazing staff. We met a gentleman with special needs lost on North Shields fish Quay. He was worried as he lost his friends and his phone battery had died. We went with him bar to bar to try and locate his friend's to no avail. We asked the staff at the restaurant next door if they could book a taxi for the man which we would pay for, but the staff member I spoke to informed me he was closing up and wanted to get away. We went into Allards on the Quay and asked if they had a charger for the gentleman's phone and said we'd pay for his taxi if they could book him one. The staff took charge of the situation, showed the upmost of compassion and assured us that they'd ensure the gentleman was escorted safely home and refused our offer to pay for the taxi. The staff are a credit to the whole organisation. I'll be sure to recommend Allards to anyone because of the way their staff acted. I'm not usually one to write reviews, I know their food is great, but their staff went over and above, even when it's not expected nor required of them and that deserves recognition. Thank you.

Went for a meal here yesterday with my boyfriend. Had tapas, cocktails and cheesecake and everything was superb! Food was lush, staff were really friendly and the inside of the restaurant is really nice. 100% would recommend for a treaty meal out :)

First time getting food at this restaurant and will definitely return, food looks and tastes amazing. Not the cheapest to eat out however selection and quality are worth the small additional price paid.
