My husband and I made our first visit yesterday for lunch. I loved the place, the decor is quite quirky and the ambiance very relaxed. Special mention to the friendly staff. Our food was delicious. I enjoyed the cod taco dish and my husband had one of the burgers. The cocktails are pretty good too. My new favourite place to eat and drink in Tynemouth, we're sure to be back soon
I've been to Lola's on multiple occasions and the food is ALWAYS amazing. The staff are lovely and the service is quick, it's a great atmosphere in the place itself as well. Highly recommend for meat-lovers, their burgers and platters are fantastic!

Great food and great service....ok, it was Tuesday afternoon and Probs not as busy as weekends. But overall we were well looked after, even brought a bowl for our little dog...

Love the food here! Been a few times, always good. Proper welcoming and whole place is dog friendly, not just a designated corner of the room! Cocktails look good too!

I went in for a late lunch (about 2pm) on a Friday and there were a few empty tables. It's table service and I was quickly brought a menu and asked for a drinks order. They have a lot of different things on tap but they also have a great cocktail menu.
The food is mostly burgers but I was told they've won awards for their burgers and, after getting a Cluck Norris chicken burger, I'm not surprised! It was one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. I was only sorry I didn't have enough time in Tynemouth to go back and get one of their beef burgers! I also got a salted caramel ice cream cheesecake, which was delicious.
The staff were all lovely, really helpful and friendly. Service was prompt but you're absolutely not rushed. The atmosphere was relaxed and even though there weren't many people there, it didn't feel empty. It just felt very chilled. They do allow well behaved dogs, and there were a few in there, so if you're going for a walk nearby it's a great place to stop for food.
Overall I would definitely recommend going here and if I get the chance, I'll be coming back.
Steak Frites was delicious with amazing sauce. Good portion size !
Unfortunately the "Ultimate" prawn dirty fries had at most 2 prawns in and the chips were really salty - not good value for money on the sides.

Delicious cocktails and vegan options. A comfortable, nicely decorated place in the heart of tynemouth. Had a staff meal/party here not long ago and it was a great choice of venue, the staff were very kind and helpful.
The James P Sullivan burger is probably the best burger I've ever had. I got the chilli cheese beef chips which were also fantastic. Not often you get so much food when it tastes that good, it was sticking out my back and we only got one course. Tremendous. Honourable mentiom also to the cocktails which my wife said were good. Also the staff were sound as a pound

Beautiful decor, friendly service, dog friendly. Food was good, drinks menu is huge. Pricey overall I felt but a nice treat meal. Def one for a repeat visit

Update on cocktails were much better than the previous time I visited and even the non alcoholic cocktails tasted just as good!

I wish I were less than a 4.5 hour drive from this place! Visited whilst up for a family wedding. Amazing food, service, ambiance! They gave us a great table for the 11 of us. Will definitely return.
Delicious food, friendly staff and a really nice interior. Big shoutout to the staff who kept my power bank behind the bar after I stupidly left it there and so I could come and collect it the next day! Will definitely be back soon!
