Very impressed by the Buddha Lounge! We didn't have a reservation but the welcoming staff found us a table within a minute despite it being busy. All the staff were friendly and very attentive. The flavours were surprisingly decent. The atmosphere was a little over the top for lunch but made for a great lounge.
Second time I've eaten at the Buddha lounge and it most definitely doesn't disappoint. Amazing restaurant with amazing food. Next time I'm in the north I will be booking here again. If you haven't eaten here then I highly recommend

Lovely place. We went for our anniversary dinner and were given free prosecco and wished a happy Anniversary. Very kind and thoughtful gesture and just added to our special day. Look forward to eating here again.

I have had good lunches here, but this was our first evening meal. The service on a busy bank holiday Saturday was understandably slow and take a Sherpa with you if you need the washrooms, but the food was superb, plentiful and reasonably priced. The bench seating is a tad tight unless you are sylph
I was just looking around Tynemouth for somewhere to have dinner and on a whim entered the Buddha Lounge and Restaurant. From the get go the experience was great.

The drinks were fairly well prepared. I would certainly use less ice in some of the drinks.
