Booked a table to celebrate our 5th anniversary. Would like to say the service was outstanding. The staff were attentive and cheerful and had decorated our table for us to mark the occasion. The restaurant itself is warm and inviting, but the food was most definitely the show stopper. Every course was presented amazingly and with little palate cleansers in between. I had a liquor coffee to end with that came with its little plate of accompanying cake and brandy snaps. It was just divine. We loved every mouthful and really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and lovely staff. Thank you so much for making it a special evening for us! We will be sure to come again soon

Decided to go the day before and so I booked. The first thing to say is, parking is a total nightmare it’s just a matter of driving round until you find a space, nearby parking is just an hour.
Quirky little restaurant with a nice varied lunchtime menu and gentle tasteful decor.
Starter was a delicious smoked salmon, avocado and artichoke with herbs and a lemon dressing.
The main was an absolutely delicious braised beef in ginger with spring onions and beautifully cooked and presented vegetables.
Dessert was a dark chocolate and cherry moist cake with clotted cream, which was nice but not sensational.
The waiting staff were very helpful at all times.
Presentation is superb and flavours are refined.
Toilet clean and well presented too.
Slight draught next to my seat otherwise really worth the 120 mile round trip
A very pleasant evening celebrating our daughter's 21st. Cheerful, helpful and capable staff, delicious food and all food was freshly prepared and therefore the chef could accommodate a dairy free diet for a diner. Chic decor and comfortable chairs. Lovely
Had dinner here last night, the food was incredible and the service was excellent. Would definitely recommend coming here and hope the new owners great success in their new venture.

Delicious and creative dishes in a beautiful village setting. Went here for my birthday and it was simply amazing. The menu has a solid range on choices and it's worth phoning ahead if you're vegetarian - the chef prepared especially for us! The wine list is also extensive and caters for all tastes and budgets. Not cheap (although not at all extortionate by fine dining standards) but you very much get what you pay for. If your staying in Canterbury then this place is definitely worth the short 10 minute cab ride out of town for a visit. Your taste buds will not be disappointed!
Food was beyond amazing and they made us feel so warm and welcome as we celebrated our 6 year wedding anniversary. The service was 10/10 and we felt so relaxed and enjoyed every bite of our meal.

An absolutely fantastic experience from front of house all through to the kitchen. We had an amazing 6 course tasting menu including wine pairings with each course. The staff were friendly and not intrusive. The sommelier was entertained my and informative and hit the spot with each of his wine pairings. The food was fantastic. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough.
